From start to finish, the service I received was absolutely outstanding, and I would particularly like to mention James Leach, who went above and beyond his duties to ensure that everything was in place and kept on track. Sophie Ayaz was also extremely diligent in dealing with the legalities and kept the whole process flowing! I would have no hesitation in recommending Hunters, who deserve the highest possible praise imaginable,for their professionalism,communication and utter dedication and commitment to unparalleled service, that really sets the bar! Thank you to everyone in the Harrogate branch for all of your hard work and for being such lovely, kind people!
27th May 2026 (17 days ago)As a landlord, my wife and I decided that with the complications of new landlord tenancy acts coming into force perhaps now is the time to consider appointing an agent. Being wary, we decided to provide a single property with Wm H Brown. We met with their representative Ms Lily Telford. It would be an understatement to say that we were impressed with Lily’s ability knowledge energy and keenness to serve and to help us. Miss Telford did exactly what she promised us…..she let the Property at a good rental within 48 hours we were astonished. We then came into contact with other members of Lily Telford‘s team, each one of them a clone of her professionalism and keenness to help and to serve us. This has proven to be a very good move for us and I highly recommend any Property owner with a single or multiple Properties…..you will not find a better letting agent than Ms Lily Telford and her team at Wm H Brown.

When I called back on the day of the viewing, no one answered. A complete waste of my time — poor communication and a lack of basic follow-through. 17th May 2026 (27 days ago)Showed us a property and told us we could sign, but we had to answer some questions for the landlord first. We filled these out on the day and sent them off, however Haus sent them to the wrong email address. After hearing nothing from them, we chased them up and they informed us of their error, telling us they would fix it. A week later, we heard nothing again, and when we rang they told us another group had viewed and signed the house straight away (which we tried to do but Haus messed up). They didn’t even bother to tell us the house had gone. Poor communication and unprofessional. Disgusting.- 27th May 2026 (17 days ago)Staff extremely helpful. - 27th May 2026 (17 days ago)Quite possibly the worst letting agent in the world. Avoid using at all costs. Agents lie, they do not return calls and with regards to maintenance, should it really take 4.5 months? A 1 star rating is actually more than is deserved but I can't rate any lower.

Hannah has kept me informed throughout the process and has always been available to answer any questions. Due to the nature of my purchase Hannah has needed to react fast to changing circumstances and I can't thank her enough for the fantastic service she has given. I will be recommending Hannah to anyone requiring mortgage advice. Thank you!!- 1st Jun 2026 (12 days ago)We were complete novice's about selling a house. We met with all the team at William H. Brown who were more than happy to take us through it all step by step. We were kept informed at every step of the way as things occured. If we had any questions they would ring us back straight away. They took charge and every thing happened so quickly. Would highly recomend the whole team at William. H. Brown. We were selling it as my mother inlaw had to go into nursing care. So having the team sort every thing for us allowed us to get on with all the other tasks.

Dan was warm, professional, and incredibly easy to talk to. His passion for what he does really shines through, and it gave us complete confidence and reassurance he knew his stuff. What stood out most was how honest, informative, and approachable he was. He took plenty of time to explain everything clearly, answered every question with patience, and made a stressful process feel relaxed, positive, and straightforward. There was absolutely no pressure or pushy sales tactics — just genuine advice and expert knowledge from someone who truly cares about helping people make the right decisions for them. Dan is a fantastic representative of the company and a real asset to the team. Would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive valuer.

Saxton Mee helped me at every stage holding my hand throughout the process . Their kindness and patience was amazing , Olivia sorted out great marketing and was always available for advice .We achieved a quick successful sale . I really could not recommend them enough . Choose Saxton Mee for a safe professional and guided sale .

28th May 2026 (16 days ago)Fantastic estate agents from start to finish or should I say fantastic estate agent SHEHZAD AHMED!! ?????? The communication was spot on, i was constantly informed of everything and anything! He was supportive, informative and calm throughout helping me with the nervous task of me selling my house. I have dealt with over 5 different estate agents and this one makes the others look poor and inadequate!!! Trust this company with your life because they return it ten fold! I never struggled with anything with shehzad on side, minutes is all it would take for a query or question to be answered. Ask for this estate agent and you'll be professionally looked after and guided. This man deserves a raise and is the fort to the lovely company martin and co. What an asset this company has! Thank you all for a quick easy happy sale and incredibuly reasonable even cheap fees! Thank you for your endless hard work martin and co and shehzad, your amazing!

From that point, I received regular and prompt communication from the Wigwam team - this allowed the process to run smoothly and was stress free. Would recommend their services to anyone looking to sell their house.
