18th Apr 2025 (8 weeks ago)We’ve been renting with home and castle for over 4 years and never had to contact them for anything until I managed to lock myself out and my child inside while taking the rubbish bin out! ???? I called them and they were at my address in under 30 mins. They didn’t have a spare key but one of the lovely ladies managed to fit through my kitchen window and get the door open! Meanwhile my child was blissfully asleep unaware of the panic I was in ???? thank you so much! I won’t make that mistake again!

From the first viewing to securing a new buyer after our initial sale fell through, the entire team - Dominique, Lara, Matthew and Mitchell - was incredible. They handled a whirlwind of activity with calm, professionalism, and a genuinely supportive approach. We’d already taken the leap of buying before selling (never again!) and were under an extremely tight deadline, but their experience and reassurance made all the difference. They kept things moving, kept us sane, and somehow even made it enjoyable. It might have been just another day at the office for them, but it was a hugely emotional milestone for us - and we’re so grateful we had them in our corner. Thank you all so much. 26th May 2025 (17 days ago)I rented privately via Leaders Waterside (Sovereign Harbour) for 12 years, 2013-2025, before moving to a new home, elsewhere. During that time, all of the Leaders staff I dealt with were professional, helpful and quick at resolving any issues. In particular, I would like to thank Nikki and Fay, who have both worked hard, recently, in helping me at the end of my tenancy (especially as my ex-landlord has been rather difficult, for them, to contact and communicate with, over the last few years). Although I no longer rent via Leaders Waterside, I would happily do so, again, in the future, and can highly recommend this branch to others.

Was told in depth about the property which we ended up purchasing with Dan who was supportive and helped us as first time buyers throughout the stages and has been a massive help. He’s a great member of their team and very helpful would definitely recommend to a friends and Family.

Lucy kept the pressure on the chain and chased everyone for documents and progress updates. Overall we would thoroughly recommend Platform to anyone, selling or buying.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

23rd May 2025 (20 days ago)I have just exchanged on my house sale and a flat I'm buying Wendy, Ben and Eloise at Surridge/Mison have been fantastic the whole way through. On the other hand, I have veered from Crazy to even Cazier! The team there have supported me each and every step of the way. It's been challenging for them I realize! If you are considering selling, always choose Surridge /Mison above others, they have a much more personal touch (lovely office too!) If you are buying, let's hope SM are the agents who can steer you through the negotiations. PS. They found me a delightful couple who are buying my house, whom have not given me one minute of concern. Although I am so glad it's almost finally over, I shall miss your over and beyond the call of duty and care Wendy, Ben and Eloise. Thank YOU to you ALL. JJulie Akers Eastbourne
