30th Oct 2024 (14 weeks ago)This five star review is for Bev, Emily and Jane, whose business was recently acquired by PB. If you want to let your property, these ladies are the people to trust, and however far away you live, you can rest assured that your property is in safe hands. Other estate agencies and staff simply can't hold a candle to these three. Nothing is too much trouble, they are responsive, looking after tenant and landlord equally, everyone is happy, and the property is beautifully cared for. They have been wonderful and my heartfelt thanks goes to them.
16th Nov 2024 (12 weeks ago)I am really glad I chose Cooper and Tanner. They are incredibly supportive and always there when I needed them. Their patience with my wobbles and my questions was amazing! The sale price was well below the valuation which was disappointing. This may have been partly due to the market difficulties at this time but I feel that possibly they did not pick up just how big a problem not having an upstairs bathroom would be. However other estate agents who valued the property did not seem to pick this up either. In all other areas I absolutely cannot fault them.

The property has needed refurbishment throughout and without the agent’s help we would have struggled to find and organise tradespeople to complete the works needed to the high standards required in a timely manner as we are located at the other end of the country. D W Smith & Company have provided a stress free, seamless service for us and we cannot recommend them highly enough!

The day before our move-in, our original landlord unexpectedly withdrew from the agreement, leaving us in a difficult spot. The team at Hamptons went above and beyond to secure us an alternative flat quickly and seamlessly. Their professionalism, dedication, and genuine care for our situation made all the difference, and we were able to move with minimal disruption. If you're looking for a team that truly puts their clients first, we highly recommend Hamptons in Bath. We’re very grateful for their hard work and couldn’t have asked for a better outcome - our new flat is amazing!

30th Oct 2024 (14 weeks ago)We dealt with Justin and his team between May and October this year when we were selling our house in Combe Down, whilst living near Barnstaple. During this time we found them to be invariably friendly, helpful, enthusiastic, courteous, readily contactable - i.e. they did not hide behind telephone answering machines or automatic email replies, which can be so frustrating, as well as being honest and trustworthy. We would recommend them.

I dealt with Anna Bateman - she was amazing, quick to feedback and kept me in the loop throughout the whole process of securing our first home. She has continued to stay in touch and support when needed since we moved in, and in my opinion if she hasn't had one already she deserves a pay-rise! :P Will be using Holbrook Moran anytime I move in the future.
14th Aug 2024 (25 weeks ago)You will be hounded - GDPR and "no" means nothing to these people! Sarah-Jane came to do a valuation in August or September of 2023, we decided for numerous reasons to sell the house through another agent. We continued to receive calls from their office despite explaining we had no need for their services and after about 3 of these calls I asked that they remove our contact details from their database as the last one had disturbed my husband while he was asleep for night shifts. A few weeks later I received another call, I explained that this was a GDPR violation, that I had specifically instructed them to remove my details from their system and not contact us again, this was unacceptable. They apologized and said they would remove them immediately to which I replied "you said that last time, and the time before". Today I have received an email from Sarah-Jane via Rightmove so I am reporting them to the ICO.

Jemima, James and Tom have been really friendly and dedicated, everything was explained clearly and promptly and we never felt we were left in the dark. I feel reassured as we settle into a fantastic flat.

The whole team were very helpful and friendly and really helped to support the process to make it as smooth as possible. They always had our best interest in mind when chasing up elements of the process. Eva and Kerry especially were super helpful and I’d definitely be looking to use CJ Hole again in the future and highly recommend their services.

As someone who himself lives nearby, he deeply understood the local market and how best to communicate the most salable features of the property to potential bodies. I really appreciated his friendly, down-to-earth approach and constant availability, even on the weekends. Being able to rely his advice and expertise from start to finish made the whole process incredibly smooth. In the end, he was able to negotiate an offer that was significantly over the asking price. I would highly recommend him as the premier estate agents in the ‘between the commons’ area.

From the very first house viewing, Jess was incredibly attentive and provided detailed information about the property. While treating all potential tenants fairly, she also made sure to give the landlord accurate feedback, which ultimately led to me being the lucky one to rent the home I loved. Jess’s hard work didn’t stop there—she was equally efficient when it came to finalizing the contract and arranging for an electrician to inspect the house. Every interaction, whether via email or phone, was warm and genuine. I truly felt that Jess cared and wanted to help. Thank you, Jess, for everything! I wish you happiness every day! :)
2nd Sep 2024 (23 weeks ago)This is the first time we have used Moving You after Andy and his team were recommended to us by our daughter who had used him in the past. I have to say that from start to finish the service we had was brilliant. Andy carried out the initial valuation whilst Nicola took the images ready for marketing. Both then carried out viewings on our behalf. Andy's marketing is great - across all the usual platforms and all over social media. Unlike many Estate Agents he was able to offer appointments at weekends as well as during the week and Nicola was a brilliant person to have accompanying viewers. We sold in just a month, in a challenging market, at just over the asking price and from then on the process was smooth and efficient. Andy's online portal was a great help and he was only ever a phone call away if we needed to discuss anything with him. We have bought and sold a number of houses over the last 20 years and while our other estate agents were great, I really feel that Andy was worth all the commission he and Nicola earned. I won't hesitate to recommend his agency to anyone who may need it. Thanks Guys

Can't believe if you ask for a viewing after 5pm on a weekday or anytime at a weekend its virtually impossible! Not sarah - she did viewings 7 days a week. I'm sure she'd do viewings at 4am if I asked her! Really friendly and always kept in touch.
