1st Jan 2025 (7 weeks ago)Nice people but probably wouldn't use again for a few reasons but I didn't appreciate being told a price and then when signing the contract was told the price I had been told was without VAT and I should have known that. Having bought from council I should not have been expected to know the price I was told was incorrect and this doesn't help you feel confident in the company after that.

3rd Jan 2025 (6 weeks ago)If you need an Estate Agent who will work their behind off for you and do their utmost to get you a genuine buyer for your home. Mike Vincent and sons Estate Agents will do a professional job and keep you updated throughout. They did an amazing job, extremely professional, friendly and genuine. I couldn't be happier with the service I received! I was mainly in contact with David and Ian, but the rest of the team were also superb. Thank you all so much for selling my home so quickly and helping me keep my sanity with such a frustrating sale due to the incompentence and lack of communication from the buyer's solicitor. All of you at Mike Vincent and Sons Estate Agents in Clacton are amazing and have made a world of difference in reinstating my trust in the profession. Very best wishes for the future Kerry-Ann #16

Just from the initial visit from Matt to value our house I was filled with confidence and knew I didn’t want anyone else to assist with my move and the choice was 100% the right choice. Matt and his team at Peagrams Estate agency provide the highest customer service, going above and beyond expectation and certainly something you rarely receive anywhere anymore. People say moving is one of the most stressful things to do which it is but with Peagrams Estate Agents you are made to feel looked after and confident in that everything is being dealt with at the highest standard without the need for you to even ask or call as you are consistently updated throughout the whole process. Huge thank you to Matt and his team at Peagrams Estate agency for their 5 star service!!

15th Aug 2024 (6 mo. ago)Didn't respond to our emails, allowed us to advertise for six months without telling us we needed an energy certificate which could've resulted in us being fined, took 6 months for our property to be removed from their books despite giving the agreed 14 days notice, didn't tell us the property we had purchased stc had been sold to someone else.

26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

They truly warrant this 5 star rating. Just hope the house you are purchasing is on Pavey's books!
6th Feb 2025 (10 days ago)Unfortunately we can’t rate these agents favourably. The initial instruction was good and promptly placed on the market with a personable representative. From then on unfortunately everything was a struggle. We were constantly given contradictory information, fobbed off with mistruths and quite frankly treated like we were an inconvenience. Considering we were paying for a service we do not feel this was given. We’ve used multiple agents over the years and unfortunately these are by far the worst we’ve encountered. Would we recommend them? Most definitely not!

The staff have been great to deal with - from the initial valuation, to the photographing of our house and then the viewings for potential buyers. I can't fault them!

Craig and his team were superb throughout , making sure that all issues were resolved and ensuring that all our chain managed to complete on the required day. I definitely recommend Fine and Country for purchases in this area.

I was looking for a new Management team and Charlie from Red Rock had reached out. As they say....the rest is history. A huge weight has been lifted. Red Rock (in particularly Charlie) made the transition process smooth, giving great advice, updating me on a consistent basis and has giving me great reassurances. Their team of contractors have been on top of things and have responded in quick time. Red Rock are patient, understanding and are always ready to help. A big thank you to Charlie and the team for all their help. Much appreciated.

An offer was received and accepted in under 7 weeks.
28th Dec 2024 (7 weeks ago)Very disappointing! Mac Cheema was not truthful throughout the process. There was an initial hidden cost at the beginning to pay for checks. Other estate agents do not have this costing. He applied a lot of pressure on me to change lenders and increase my offer when there were issues during the process. Towards the end, he kept stating that we're close to completing and exchanging, however, my personal estate agent and my solicitor both said that this was not the case. He kept trying to put pressure on me to chase things up that didn't need chasing. Mac kept stating that it was IMPERATIVE that XYZ had got done. Again, from having spoken to my solicitor and estate agent, this was not the case. He was not on the side of the buyer. He was extremely ruthless and pushy. Finally, when collecting the keys, I had to meet him in a public location, near a train station, rather than the official office. It was extremely odd - Not entirely sure if there is an office? I would not trust him - Please do not use!
