26th Mar 2024 (29 days ago)I had a really dreadful experience. They actually accepted an offer for my house without my knowledge or permission, after I had told them in writing, on the phone and in person that I did not accept it. Then they took the house off the market because a survey was asked for without informing me. I only found out because someone noticed that it was no longer on the Internet. And when I asked them for an explanation they responded in a very rude way. I had wanted to leave the house on the market for a short while longer to try to get a better offer. Also, I was suspicious about the fact that I had had so few viewings and asked my aunt to try to arrange one. She contacted AE on 29 Jan. and received no answer. She contacted them again on 1 February and was told by X that the house was under offer and a survey booked. The latter was not true. She asked if she could be informed if there was a change and X said that she would be but when the sale later fell through noone contacted her. My aunt has forwarded me her correspondence with AE. I discovered this at around the same time that I discovered that they had accepted an offer without my knowledge. Therefore I felt that I had to go along with the sale as if I pulled out of they might not do any more viewings and I wouldn't find anyone else. They seemed to have fixated on one particular offer. Also I had only wanted to leave it on the market for a short time as I already had a place to buy. No memorandum of sale was issued, and apparently the buyer was not asked to provide an agreement in principle as the sale fell through because the buyer could not get a mortgage. I have had to go to another estate agent and have lost about three months. Many other things were done wrong as well. The photos taken initially were of poor quality. There were less of them than there were for other listings on their website, so I asked if more could be added, in particular a second one of the living room. They added a photo of the hall which had clearly been taken for another sale as it had a wardrobe in it which is not there now. And a picture of a garden bench which was pointless. It was not possible to see from the listing which maisonette was being sold, so people looking did not know that it was a ground floor one with a garden. I did not get a chance to approve the listing. After they agreed the sake, they asked me to allow the potential buyer access to do measuring up. This was before the survey had even been done. I had three viewings and only got feedback on one of them
19th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Sold my property through Robinson Jackson and both Andrea and Margaret were amazing (progression team), chasing every which way they could as we had a long complicated chain. They both went above and beyond in securing our exchange and completion. Not that I ever want to move again but if I did I would definitely use this estate agent again and would recommend them to anyone and everyone I know who wants to move. Thank you again, its been a pleasure working with you.

I had struggled with this process since I had returned to the UK after being overseas for a long time and had to settle back 'into the system'. Many estate agents were unhelpful, not responsive and just generally not providing the assistance and support I hoped for. When I walked into Your Move Bexleyheath for the first time, I sat down and briefed the staff member about my circumstances, and she was quick to take my details and explain a little re the requirements and process. My appointed agent was Maya Jacobs. She was friendly, proactive, helpful and most of all listened. I managed to find the property I was looking for and the whole process was clear and smooth. Any concerns I had were addressed and I was not worried at all. The overall experience was easy and I am so grateful to Maya for all her help. Hats off to the Your Move team in Bexleyheath, by far the best service I have received out of the many many bad experiences I have had, and at the same time they managed to find the place that was exactly looking for.
18th Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)I'm deeply disappointed with the service provided by the estate agent during my property transaction. Despite my offer being accepted, critical issues arose, including the discovery of an illegal extension with an asbestos roof, which made the property ineligible for a mortgage. This led to financial losses exceeding £1100 for various non-refundable expenses such as ID verification arranged by the estate agent, solicitor fees, and surveyor costs. Additionally, the unprofessional conduct of the director, Jake, who abruptly ended communication during important discussions, added to my frustration. I'm actively seeking ways to address these issues and recover my losses.

The whole process was smooth and kept up to date with progress . Lisa Harris has an extensive experience on the property sales and rental properties. I highly recommend them and would definitely will use them again in the future.

Luke is a skilled and helpful agent, who made the whole process super easy. Keira, our property manager, is extremely responsive. She has been remarkably present for any questions or requests we had and it was very clear that solving any issues was a high priority for her. I've had a great experience with Beaumont Gibbs :)

Kirsty managed to secure our buyer soon after our house went on the market, even being available to show clients around when we was out of the country. When sales progression became stressful, Kirsty always made herself available to assist in anyway she could to help us through this time. Her dedication to her role and helping us to address any queries we had helped us to remain focused on our end goal of selling our property, allowing us to move on to our next much wanted purchase. If you want a team of proactive people then sadly this isn't what you will get. They are happy to take a monthly fee but when work needs doing you can forget it.

They’re extremely knowledgeable about the local area and really nice guys to boot. We had WhatsApp chats for updates/arranging bookings etc which worked really well. They also kept things running really smoothly in terms of progress to exchange and completion with the various parties involved. I was previously using a big chain on my sale before instructing Strickland and the difference in terms of experience was light and day. They do rush jobs and the problems just keep reoccurring. They are currently not responding to my emails and are unapologetic. On top of this is our rent has even gone up.
