Highly recommend Jamie Gordon. Always gives excellent advice and is very knowledgeable in the lettings market. Very efficient and always answers any queries/questions promptly.
Jamie and Rosie at Trading Places provide an outstanding service. I've lived and rented in London for nearly 10 years and in that time I've had mixed experiences with letting agents and private landlords, but these guys really stand out from the rest for me.
I had difficulties leaving a previous tenancy which almost derailed our new deal and Jamie acted as go between with our now landlord and kept everything on track and all parties happy quite brilliantly.
These guys go the extra mile, are easy to talk to, always are on top of communication with clear and detail info and are very clued up and professional, a direct contrast to almost every other agent or landlord I've ever dealt with! As a result my partner and I are now in a brilliant little flat in Wanstead and could not be happier. Highly recommend.
Unfortunately I didn't end up buying through Haart as I changed location, however Ben Daines was superb and after registering with at least 5 Leyton agents Haart was easily the most proactive and genuine.
If had an option to rate below zero I would say -10
I’m not sure how other agents can beat Pettyson&Prestwich?
They’re standards are set above and beyond, the team is absolutely wonderful to work with, there’s so much paper work and phone calls. John the director is a fantastic man who listen and provide everything he can to fulfill your need as a client. I’ve used them twice and both times blown away by their professionalism. I highly recommend them to everyone! If you are considering an agent look no further.
Thank you Pettyson&Prestwich for being so great!
After showing interest in an apartment in Snaresbrook and arranging a viewing by phone, I received an email confirming the address and time for the viewing. As it turned out, I was given the wrong postcode and therefore arrived at the wrong address, a 20 minute walk away from where the property was actually located. I received a call from Du Preez Botha who asked me where I was and, after explaining to him that he had indeed given me the wrong postcode he said "well I had the same postcode as you and have never been here before myself and I've managed to find it". Although I should have checked the name of the road itself as well as the postcode, I did only use the postcode as I was using my google maps app. Estate agents are by nature rather arrogant people who know the rental market well, they have a lot of interest in each property. Having said this, if a mistake is made on one's part, one should accept this, not blame the client. He did apologise, although this didn't feel too sincere. I also work in a very busy office where I am responsible for providing addresses to clients. So a word of advice from me would be to: A. double check both the number / name and street name and B. make sure the postcode provided to a potential client matches the address. In this way the time wasted for both parties will be avoided.
Purchased property through Stow Brothers and Kenny and his team were great - helpful, friendly and informative. We received good communication and Ben was proactive in keeping things moving along. Really lovely team and very down to earth. Would definitely consider Stow when selling our property.
Their valuation was higher than I expected, and they revised down from an initial figure of £635k to £600-625k. In the end the property sold for just over £585k (after a long time on the market and a reduction in the asking price from £600k to £575k).
All that said, the people were always polite and friendly, the fees were reasonable and I think their brand works well. A decent estate agent, definitely.
