20th Aug 2024 (22 days ago)We have just completed the sale of our house through Wills & Smerdon. The process was difficult and protracted which reflected the prevailing market conditions. However throughout the process we received good advice on pricing and market conditions together regular progress reports. The service we received from all the W&S staff in the Horsley office and particularly Chloe was excellent.

25th Aug 2024 (17 days ago)Damp moldy property that needs completely overhauling from black mold on the walls of all bedrooms and hallwalls leaking ceiling removal or fire doors on kitchen central heating not turning on rusty leaking radiators broken bedroom furniture no fire alarms live cables hanging and last tenants rubbish left in front and back garden absolutely disgusting accommodation rented to young students ps and wrong read meters reading given to them photos added

Simon continually kept us up to date with the progress of the chain and chased various parties on our behalf. I really want to thank Simon and Chad for making the whole process as simple as possible and keeping everything moving forward.

When calling to enquire about a flat on a Friday afternoon the day before going away for weeks, Ryan made extra efforts to give us a viewing in his own time that evening so we could see it. After making a offer he pushed it through immediately and we heard we were successful very promptly the following Monday. Through the whole process Ryan kept good communication and was always professional and friendly. Really positive experience overall.

I moved into Godalming, Surrey which was a completely new area from me, having moved here from London. Their team has been a great help, very prompt and made the whole process so smooth and hassle-free! Special Cheers to Gemma for being an absolute sweetheart and also giving me a little walk tour in the rain on my first visit to Godalming!
19th Jan 2021 (3 years ago)From first contact (Rowan) they were very professional and gave us a very accurate valuation which was not only achieved but was £25K higher than another leading firm were willing to put on their brochure. I am sure we would have achieved a lower sale price without their guidance. They only brought genuine viewers and escorted each one around the house with the result that we were under offer in just over 2 weeks. Also, around the time of exchange of contracts, Nigel was totally on top of the process and probably didn't make any friends with the buyers solicitors whom he kept pushing into action. We were kept fully informed of progress to the contract exchange several times a day usually by phone and also by email. In summary I would most definitely recommend Gascoigne-Pees. Be wary of looking elsewhere as you may end up disappointed.

He was very quick to answer calls and emails and always seemed to be available. We got a price that was at the top end of his estimation so it worked very well for us. I would definitely recommend his services.

We received a hugely personable service - underpinned by genuine sincerity and a willingness to champion our corner as a buyer. Some of the other high street players in Guildford could certainly do with a lesson or 2 from Mel around relationship building and effective communication. Highly recommended...

15th Aug 2024 (27 days ago)Seymours worked with me recently to try to find a property as I am looking to downsize. The search is now on hold temporarily but their service was excellent. In particular Serena who was my main contact. Really well informed about the local area and she took a lot of time to really understand what I am looking for. Friendly and helpful and excellent at staying in regular contact without pressuring me. Would definitely want to use her again when I resume my search next year.

27th Aug 2024 (15 days ago)The reason agents have a bad name. Unlawful fees? Check False promises? Check Twisted communications? Check Ignorant? Check Will they lie? Check Will they steal? Check The list sadly goes on. Whilst this review is merely an expression of my opinion, it is one reached after 7 years of interaction. I rented a 4 bedroom house from them, and they acted as agent for the landlord who I never met. After viewing the house, it was agreed a lot of work was needed to make it a habitable family home. The agent very clearly agreed, and we struck a deal based upon basic things such as cleaning and painting would be done for us to enable a fresh start. On move in day we arrived to find none of this had been done, and when we raised the issue, we were told: ‘just leave it as you find it.’ This of course was unacceptable as the house, as-well-as dirty, was actually unsafe. When we left, they ignored us for months, and then tried to steal our deposit on the grounds that the house needed works!!! Saying that the check I had been lost and all issues were down to us. After taking this to the authorities they ruled, correctly, against the agents. However, this does not make us for months and years of stress and risk. Avoid like the plague. UPDATE: The case went the tenancy deposit scheme’s arbitration, and although it took several months, I received everything. The landlord chose to also blame the agent for the issues.

We felt really taken care of, and their proactive approach made everything so much easier. 11th Nov 2022 (1 year ago)The estate agency world often gets a bad name but I have nothing but positive words to say about the guys at Noah’s - they feel like a different breed! I mostly dealt with Kourosh as a buyer and he knew exactly the type of property I was looking for. He gave me great insight on the market with no fluff or nonsense and went above and beyond throughout the purchase. So much so that when the seller ended up leaving a load of furniture in the house after completion, both Jacob and Kourosh came in the Noah’s van to pick it all up after the sale which I thought was awesome. Top guys who with strong integrity.
