12th Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)We first met Jilly Wellman when we were considering selling our house several years ago now. We were dissatisfied with the agent at that time and found Jilly so helpful even though not her clients that we vowed to contact her in the future. We withdrew our property from the market at that time. So, having lived at our current address for 29 years we decided to sell and contacted Jilly. Obviously, out of touch with the selling process and anxious about it, Jilly was immediately reassuring and was so enthusiastic about our property and conveyed confidence in getting a sale that we took re-assurance from that. Throughout the whole process she kept in touch, put suitable people forward for viewings, answered all emails and texts promptly. She introduced her colleague who would occasionally stand in for her and showed her around. She also communicated when her colleague was doing the viewings. She assured us she would be with us every step of the way and she was. The thing that is striking is after many years doing her job she is so enthusiastic and competent and goes out of her way to be helpful and clearly loves meeting her clients. We were also very happy with the price she pitched our property at. A gem of an agent! I would also like to say how helpful and welcoming Jo Windsor and Diana Steer were in the process of our sale. In view of our experience, I would certainly recommend Strutt & Parker Estate Agents.

26th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)From our first meeting with Jon when we were looking for agents to sell our home, it was clear that Hamptons seemed professional and transparent with the service they would provide and costs involved. And, whilst not the cheapest agent on the high street, they have been by far the most efficient and communicative agent we have dealt with over the past 12-yrs with 2 previous sales and buys and a probate sale. Jon and the team have proven to be cohesive and capable, indeed Jon has been an absolute star keeping track of our buyers and of our onward purchase and keeping us informed with regular calls and emails. Estate agents have been the brunt of many a bad word but we can honestly say this has by far and away been the best service we have received on what is after all a significant financial transaction and traumatic experience. We have no hesitation in recommending their services.

Passionate about our house, and the area, competitively priced and communicative and reassuring throughout. This combination of things also meant we managed to achieve a higher price than what any of the other agents quoted when choosing a vendor. It really does pay to use somebody who is as passionate about your house/area as you are! Big thanks to the whole team, highly recommended!
7th Apr 2024 (28 days ago)It has been said that moving home is one of the most stressful times in ones life Unfortunately , this experience for me and my family was not the the norm in the slightest. It took 10 months to complete many ups and downs and i didn't think it would ever happen at one point.Putting all the problems to oneside. Waterfords were my seller's estate agents. Harry Dean was able to keep us in the loop throughout the process. Communications with him was excellent. Harry went above and beyond to help, as solicitors thoroughout the chain were lacking in there communications with each other. If it wasn't for Harry's I'm not sure that I would be living here now. I can't recommend Waterfords enough. They didn't even sell our home. Harry Dean is amazing

He was understanding when hurdles cropped up and always showed patience and compassion to my elderly mother. A great agent in all respects but in this case with assisted living properties.

6th Apr 2024 (29 days ago)Pilgrims, agent Elliot Griffin, were estate agents for a property we put an offer on. The offer was accepted in writing. While we were sorting out soliciting etc, took about a week because it was over Eastern, Elliot let other interested parties view the property without us knowing it and then we got a phone call after eastern saying that now someone else had purchased the property. So, if you deal with Pilgrims and Elliot Griffin, an accepted offer doesn't mean anything. Be aware!

3rd Jan 2023 (1 year ago)Estate Agents sometimes get a bad rap (on occasions deserved), But if you use Henry Phillips Estate Agent, they will take you through the whole process of selling the house, explaining how and why your house is advertised and when the offer comes through they lease with both sets of Solicitors. I can assure you, your stress will be much reduced. Our main contact was David Stevens and throughout it was obvious he new what he was talking about, A very proffesional job. Thankyou Ben

Right from the initial house viewing Lucy went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information necessary prior to making an offer. Adele was fantastic - always there to help and guide me during some difficult and emotional times. Special thanks also to Jenny and Rob for all their help. We eventually sold the house through their Auction process which resulted in the best possible outcome, particularly because the whole procedure was quick and extremely efficient. I can’t thank them enough and highly recommend this great local Estate Agent.
