From the very beginning, Sue didn’t just ride the waves; she took the wheel and never let up on the gas, making sure we stayed on course no matter how rocky things got. The whole process had its ups and downs, with a few unexpected hurdles along the way, but Sue remained calm, collected, and determined throughout. She didn’t just offer support—she took action, always one step ahead, ensuring we were informed, confident, and prepared for every twist and turn. Her proactive approach kept the sale moving forward, and we genuinely believe that without her unwavering persistence, things would have taken much longer to close.

During our search we came across various estate agents but known compared to the service Tim and Williams Properties provided us. Tim spent time getting to know us and finding out what we were really looking for; he really made the experience personal and enjoyable and it was lovely to get to know him a little. I highly recommend Williams Properties, we shall definitely use them again in the future. Thank you so much Tim!

26th Mar 2026 (20 days ago)We sold our property through Andy and Kristina at Michael Anthony in Aylesbury and had a great experience with them. Communication was excellent and there was always someone in the office available if we needed to call and talk things through. They found a buyer quickly and were great at chasing things along when needed. We did have some delays due to land registration issues but Andy and Kristina were both wonderful throughout and kept us updated. We would definitely recommend them to anyone selling in the area!

21st Mar 2026 (25 days ago)We called twice and on each occasion left a message so that the responsible person or team could get in touch regarding a property valuation. On both occasions call-backs were promised but never happened. It seems they can afford to turn away potential clients and business. We will now use other agents.
18th Mar 2026 (28 days ago)Dreadful experience from start to finish with Stuart Burtenshaw. Firstly his arrogant aura came across as mocking the way my parents lived when he came to view the property for a probate valuation. I didn't want to put the house on the market because of this but one of my siblings thought that seeing as they knew George Rockall all would be ok - how wrong could they have been...... Stuart Burtenshaw is the most arrogant, rude, unempathetic, person I have ever had the misfortune to meet. He made mistakes throughout the process, he was pushy to except an offer of £70K less than the asking price when our property had only been on the market for less than 8 weeks....needless to say we did not accept it. When he asked which solicitors we used and then advised that they used Lightfoots regularly, which in turn led us to believe he understood their processes, again how wrong could I be.... the actual completion day was an absolute horrendous and very upsetting day, we were advised by our solicitors not to hand over the keys until the solicitors had called us to advise they had received the monies, we received this call at 1pm on the day of completion, followed by a very nasty & pushy call from Stuart Burtenshaw at 1.05pm asking when we could drop the keys in when I said 30 minutes I was told that was totally unacceptable and he demanded to know how long it would be as the new owners had been at the estate agents at 10am...... This we thought was not our problem and Stuart should have known Lightfoots proceedures, and dealt with it accordingly, I asked for 10 minutes, instead he suggested that he just send them down to our house, next thing 5 vans and 2 cars arrived and new owners wanted to come in..... We had no time to say goodbye to our family home of 61 years......... Bitterly disappointed doesn't cover it, my advice would be DO NOT use White Lion to sell a property and if you have to then avoid Stuart Burtenshaw at all cost.

The staff allocated to our house sale were 'on hand' to answer any query which we had (no matter how small or seemingly insignificant). The team at Thomas Merrifield Kidlington communicated with us faultlessly, and they ensured that every aspect of the sale ran completely smoothly. Their professionalism was second to none! We were absolutely delighted (and SO RELIEVED!) that we had TM as our agents. We thoroughly recommend asking Thomas Merrifield Kidlington to be your estate agents. ??????

21st Mar 2026 (25 days ago)Haven’t received any rent as a landlord since December 2025! They refuse to answer the phone, answer emails, answer instagram messages and I am now owed for the outstanding finances. Absolute awful behaviour - do not list your property with them!!!!

10th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)We recently purchased a house marketed through Newton Rowe and though it wasn’t the smoothest of transactions with our buyers disappearing mid-transaction (whilst we were on the market with a different estate agency), Sarah was incredible to deal with. She went above and beyond to ensure the chain stayed in tact, kept all parties constantly informed and followed up diligently until the transaction was complete. There were times when we really didn’t think it would happen but Sarah made it happen! She really offers a personal touch and is an incredible human being. You really get the sense of pride she takes in her work and in actually bringing joy to her clients. She genuinely cares and it shows! I would never think of looking elsewhere and will always recommend Sarah to anyone looking to buy or sell their property. Super grateful for everything you’ve done for us!

I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

4th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)College and county has looked after two rental houses for me for several years and they take all the hassle out of my life. They select great tenants and give regular feedback on how the letting is progressing, they also deal efficiently with the normal household problems like drains, appliance breakages and keep me informed with me having to interrupt my day to sort them out. They have also negotiated HMO licences with the council on my behalf. I have had requests from other letting agencies but am not going to change. Thank you C&C
31st Mar 2026 (15 days ago)Brown&Merry Aylesbury recently handled the sale of my house. It’s fair to say that things were rather protracted, with the first prospective buyer coming back twice to ask for a price reduction. However Brown&Merry handled the situation very well. We agreed to put the house back on the market and it was sold in three months from start to finish. I found all of the staff very helpful, and proactive. They often contacted me to suggest how we might progress the sale, and were very helpful in finding contractors when needed to progress the sale. Overall I consider their service and expertise first class, and would recommend them as excellent agents.
