During our search we came across various estate agents but known compared to the service Tim and Williams Properties provided us. Tim spent time getting to know us and finding out what we were really looking for; he really made the experience personal and enjoyable and it was lovely to get to know him a little. What really stood out was how friendly and approachable everyone was. Moving house can be stressful, but they made the entire process feel smooth and manageable. They were always quick to respond, kept us well informed at every stage, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Their professionalism was clear throughout, but it was their genuinely warm and supportive attitude that made the biggest difference. It felt like they truly cared about helping us move, rather than just treating it as another transaction. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. A fantastic experience all round.

Others in the team stepped in when Madelaine was not available, and maintained the positive experience for us. The agent, of course, works for the vendor - but Alexander & Co had the purchaser's interests clearly in focus, and did their best to smooth over issues when they arose during the process.

Communication was excellent and there was always someone in the office available if we needed to call and talk things through. They found a buyer quickly and were great at chasing things along when needed. We did have some delays due to land registration issues but Andy and Kristina were both wonderful throughout and kept us updated. We would definitely recommend them to anyone selling in the area!

I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

She went above and beyond, tirelessly coordinating with the buyer, their solicitors, and ours, all while keeping us updated every single day without fail. 27th Mar 2026 (19 days ago)6 stars out of 5 if that's even possible. I recently had the pleasure to work with Jack, Taylor and Ellis as part of my house-move. As part of this process (both selling and buying), we came across a number of different agencies, and the Akeman team is easily the most professional, responsive, honest, accommodating and helpful team. From viewings, to deal negotiations, to progressing the sale, they are supportive and transparent at every step. They follow-through with their promises. Bottom line, I never felt the need to "chase" them on anything, and that speaks volumes. They are simply a breath of fresh air after some mixed experience I've had with other estate agents. I would highly recommend anyone looking to sell/ let their home in the area to give them a call!

I needed one small thing repaired in the whole letting period. Was still waiting weeks later. Eventually got it fixed myself in two days for less than half the quote House Shaw finally got for me. Will use another agent next time.
31st Mar 2026 (15 days ago)Brown&Merry Aylesbury recently handled the sale of my house. It’s fair to say that things were rather protracted, with the first prospective buyer coming back twice to ask for a price reduction. However Brown&Merry handled the situation very well. We agreed to put the house back on the market and it was sold in three months from start to finish. I found all of the staff very helpful, and proactive. They often contacted me to suggest how we might progress the sale, and were very helpful in finding contractors when needed to progress the sale. Overall I consider their service and expertise first class, and would recommend them as excellent agents.
