5th Sep 2023 (1 year ago)Amazingly bad service We rented a complete owned property for just over 2 years. In that time we had about 5 property managers. This should say all you need to know. Each one not knowing what had gone on before. Given the fact a week before we thought we were moving in we had to chase them to find out nothing had moved forward and they were waiting on us to send documentation (we were not told). Throughout the 2 years they were never really there to help you. After we have left they have tried to keep around 75% of our deposit which is absolutely insane. Missing furniture that never existed in the first place, the most expensive cleaning quote imaginable and £50 to remove a single chair. These are some of the excuses on the quote. Try and avoid complete properties when possible!!

The team are always available to respond to any queries. Throughout the conveyancing process they kept me updated. They keep a connection with every single stakeholder involved. AMAZING EXPERIENCE! 27th Aug 2024 (19 days ago)I got a 1 bedroom flat from anisten homes. It was given to me in a poor state. While being 7 months pregnant I had to give the whole flat a lick of paint, the carpet was professionally washed and the flat got a deep clean including all the kitchen fixtures and fittings. I lived in this flat for 4 years and kept it in mint condition and have never fallen in rent arrears. When I moved out of the flat I left the flat in excellent condition. Clean and ready to move in for next tenants. I left in February 2024. I started chasing up my deposit, however I was not given any response. A couple months later I recieved an email saying my deposit will be deducted to few things as outlined below. Paint touch up. £60 Oven clean. £50 Back garden not been maintained £100 What I dont understand is when I'm the one who pained the whole flat in 2019 when I moved in why am I being charged for paint touch up. I recieved the oven in appaling condition. I cleaned it thoroughly. The garden I cleaned out and cut the grass and also spoke to the landlord about it and he said that's fine. So why am I being charged 100 pounds? I have disagreed with these charges and sent numerous emails to the agent in charge and have called many many times. It is now end of August 2024 and I am still chasing for my deposit. These estate agents are unprofessional and do not care about their tenants. I will never recommend them to anyone. My four years of being a brilliant tenant they di not care about. At the end of the day it's all about squeezing as much money out as possible. Appaling disgraceful Attached are pictures of how I recieved the flat and pictures of how the flat was left when I evacuated.

We have to chase or ask them every time and after asking again and again Mr Moiz said property has gone.That’s really unprofessional.
31st Aug 2024 (15 days ago)We tried to let out our house in Woodford Green . Unfortunately the company couldn’t make it due to the miscommunication between the would be tenant and the agent . The tenant piled up the requirements and contractor kept on doing and being a landlord only kept loosing the rent and the money in construction. Not happy with their work and approach .May be next time they does good and I remove the review .
27th Aug 2024 (19 days ago)I have never left a negative review in my life but for this I have to.. AVOID RENTING WITH FOXTONS AT ALL COSTS. I have been renting a property in Brixton for the past year and reported mould issues 4 months ago (20th May 2024) and to this day (27/08/2024) nothing has been done to rectify it. We have been back and fourth with property management (even crying down the phone) and they are still not letting us move out until we finish the tenancy length (2 year tenancy agreement). The flat is a basement flat and the bathroom doesn't have a window or an extractor fan which we informed foxtons was illegal to which they breezed over and OF COURSE haven't done anything about. We are now living in mould and seeking legal action to try and get out of our tenancy as Foxtons have told us on 3 occasions we have to find someone to replace it if we want to go. As you can see from the photos nobody should be living in these conditions. Every time we ring, our account manager is 'in a meeting' they take days/weeks to respond to a question. In regards to getting something fixed..we are yet to have one issue in our flat/tenancy fixed. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

23rd Aug 2024 (23 days ago)Jak and Rachel were my main contacts and were brilliant. Jak’s initial consultation was really nice and felt personal rather than just another sale. They found a buyer at the price I expected and once it moved over to Rachel, it was nice to have her available to help when I wasn’t getting updates via the solicitors. She chased, came back to me when she said and helped get the sale over the line. I would recommend and use again the next time I look to move.

17th Aug 2024 (29 days ago)I chose Tom an independent agent over the larger multi agents, because he gave me confidence from the very first meeting that he had a great deal of experience, and was not pushy. He did not disappoint it was a pleasure working with Tom and his team, who were always available to answer questions and give updates. They also helped arrange additional tasks, such as house clearance and reading meters. His hard work resulted in a very quick, stress free sale.. I would highly recommend Tom Ashwood to anyone who wants a hassle free supportive team to sell their property.
