22nd Apr 2024 (6 days ago)What a refreshing change - an honest and reliable estate agent. Alex and Elliott were professional, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. I kept in regular contact with Buckinghams during my house search which took some months. Buckinghams were instructed to sell the property I have just purchased. Alex contacted me asking if I’d like to view. 5 weeks later I picked up the keys and it ticks pretty much all the boxes. I thoroughly recommend the team at Buckinghams and can’t thank you enough.

Ruby handled the negotiations and the correspondence between the owners and lawyers and Quinton did most of the viewings. What an amazing team, Ruby was always quick to respond and kept us informed the whole way and did everything to make both sides happy and Quinton was like something out of grand designs, pointing out all the things we could do with the property and how to maximise the space and opportunities. Felt like we got a bonus experience when buying our first home. Would highly recommend working with this team and enjoy the personal touches that come along the way.
30th Dec 2023 (17 weeks ago)I have worked in partnership with Foxtons before so I hoped to use the connection to make the process run as smoothly as possible. Staff changes - a frequent thing at Foxtons - affected this somewhat adversely.

The transaction was smooth and the team worked with us to ensure the completion was efficient without any headaches. Would definitely recommend.
4th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)Up to the point when you sign your letting contract and pay move in fees communication is good and agents are helpful. As soon as you sign on the line they can't be bothered. Emails do not get answered Phone calls do not get returned Repairs take weeks to complete My daughter moved out of her flat a month ago. To date we still have been unable to retrieve property the agents insisted on being locked in a room. Multiple emails and phone calls to get our deposit back go unanswered and we are now having to open a dispute with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme to have our money returned. This is so unnecessary and could all be avoided if they would just reply to an email or return a phone.

Reported to trading standards and has several CCJ’s but folds the company but keeps the Edward Barclay trading name. Check him out on companies house and avoid him at all cost. One day he’ll do it to the wrong person.

Their staff lie to perspective tenants and Landlords alike. The tenant will be promised anything to sign an agreement without this being agreed by the Landlord. I unfortunately chose them to manage my property and it has been a complete nightmare. Now trying to cancel the agreement and being threatened with legal action. Whether you are a Tenant or Landlord stay well away !!!

9th Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)WORST experience with their letting agents. Here are my reasons why you should AVOID renting with them: 1. They increased my rent half way through my 3 year contract because I got pregnant and the landlord knew my due date was around the time we put a break up clause in the contract. 2. They harassed me into decorating landlord’s house when we gave notice we were leaving. 3. Initially they said our total deductions from our deposit was around £700 mark and then in the dispute they increased it to the £1200 mark

Over the course of the 10 months(!) that it has taken for us to both sell and purchase, the team have been knowledgeable, informative, excellent at communicating and so helpful. We have needed a good sense of humour and a lot of determination to get through the process and Jackson Stops have stepped up to the plate every time. Robert has gone above and beyond with this transaction and is always at the end of the phone. Law, Geraldine and Nicholas have been so friendly, helpful and easy to deal with, I have been so impressed with the service and support they’ve offered us throughout this time. Thank you guys!

1st Apr 2024 (27 days ago)We have recently completed the sale of my 91-year-old uncle's bungalow through Property Owl. Over the years, I have been involved in selling a number of properties with varying experiences of agents and I have to say that Ammar's service was truly exceptional. My uncle sometimes gets a bit confused about dealing with administrative matters, and Ammar was very patient and thoughtful with him - it was his first house move in 50 years, so very stressful for him. Ammar's kindness and patience was very helpful as we live over an hour away. He also chased the sales process very effectively, liaising with the buyer, the solicitors involved and the sales lady at the retirement complex my uncle moved into; he kept us informed about the progress throughout. He even offered to take cuttings from a bush in the garden, and turned up on moving day to help where he could! Recommended unreservedly - thanks, Ammar!

There attention to detail with setting up the photos and with the descriptions was by far the best I have experienced in a long history of buying and selling properties. Communication was great, especially having the whatsapp group chat. I would recommend them to anyone.
