16th Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)This is a addition to my previous review left 2 years ago. We have bought the property through Clarendons and I can not recommend them enaugh. Especially Jordan who was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much for him and he did everything in order for our sale to be completed as soon as possible. Professional yet very friendly. It was a pleasure to deal with Clarendons, everyone was friendly and professional. I was very surprised when moved in to receive a welcome box with goodies inside. Never seen any other agencies doing that.

10th Sep 2024 (6 weeks ago)David Baille at Jackson- Stops Dorking was amazing from start to finish. He was so patient, helpful, friendly and professional throughout and kept me updated at all times. When he was out of the office, all the other members were quick to assist me until David returned my call - which he always did. This estate agent seem to have excellent market knowledge too and excellent overall ratings which match my experience. I therefore can’t rate this estate agents highly enough and would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking of using them. Thank you once again David for all your help, advice (and definitely patience!) which ended in a successful sale. A great experience as a buyer, led by Frank and supported by other colleagues throughout the viewing process. Clear and regular communication throughout, which made the purchase side of things very smooth and stress free for us during a tricky and often difficult chain beneath us. Would certainly use Patrick Gardner again when the time comes, and would highly recommended. A nice touch of a card and flowers upon collecting the keys to our new home. Thanks again to Frank and the team.

She's been extremely professional and understanding of our situation, whilst managing to find us a buyer within 2 weeks! Cannot praise Sammy enough throughout this whole time. We had been searching for a suitable flat for some months and couldn’t believe how quickly Blake sorted out all the paperwork and how helpful and knowledgable he was with everything, keeping in touch and me updated constantly. 18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Special mention to Chris who sold us the house at the first visit. His support throughout the process was the reason we did not freaked out at any moment till the completion day. 11th Oct 2024 (12 days ago)Liam and his team have been great with my sale. Out of all the estate agents I reviewed he was the most personable and honest. My sale has been difficult with various sales falling through for different reasons but Liam has managed to secure a buyer quickly without applying pressure on me to drop my price each time. I also had to pull out of a chain sale twice, and the first time Rob was amazing at keeping me calm and buying me time to decide what I wanted to do. Great people skills. The sales progression team agent Sarah has been amazing. I’m now at the stage where exchange has happened and it’s a few days from completion and I’m very grateful for their help. I don’t think I could have done this without her and Liam’s support and chasing. Even with our new purchase Liam responded instantly and helped with making sure we could prove our sale had gone through. Something which he didn’t have to do as quickly as he did as it doesn’t benefit him. Thank you again I would use Laurels again!

They make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk through the door and don't make it awkward to ask questions you have about any aspect of the house buying process. We have found them to be forthcoming with advice, timely with their responses and consider ourselves lucky to have had their team be our first encounter with an estate agent.
