22nd Nov 2025 (11 weeks ago)Our house was let out by Reeds Rains for a year before selling. Joe was great in handling the valuation for letting and the letting management team was also good. And the sale proceeded well and smoothly once the offers came in. Tom was excellent in helping and explaining some issues. Love Daisy whose sunny disposition shone through over the phone… am glad she showed clients our house and got us great offers. And…, of course Joe was brilliant in helping calm my anxiety. I must say Joe, Daisy and Tom are brilliant in their expertise and ability to get the sale through with passion and dedication. So a huge thanks to these 3 amazing individuals. They were always approachable, professional and caring towards our barrage of questions! They made sure to get the best pictures of our house, and arrived well prepared with research of our area. Since this was the first time I was selling a house, I'm glad I went with Bridgfords. James and his team were outstanding.

27th Jan 2026 (13 days ago)I had arrived for a viewing in Manchester M16. Agent and I agreed to a time. Agent arrives at the wrong address - okay that's fine even though I left work and have to make up the time for this. Then the agent answers my email face to face about the lack of appliances in the studio! You should have emailed me in advance to not WASTE my time!! Then I tell Sarah that I'd still like to view. She tried the lockbox code and says that it's broken!! How unprofessional! Anyway, the lack of coordination between Ysanne (who I booked my viewing with) and Sarah (who came to the viewing) is unbelievable!! I ask if I can view the other property available on the same road which was only posted on rightmove 3 days ago and she says it was taken .She then says she's got to go to another viewing. YAY! It all seems super fishy. Don't trust these lot and I suppose I dodged a bullet. I am Manuela (before you say you don't recognise my name).

Moving house can be stressful but they were helpful and supportive throughout the process. Highly recommend
- 13th Oct 2025 (17 weeks ago)Reduced it within a week of being on the market so just shows they got the valuation so wrong. Communication was very poor. Only had two viewings first I had to chase feedback. Never given feedback from the last viewing. When I gave notice I was emailed to say 3 viewings had taken place. They had not. We have changed estate agents as a result of poor service.
9th Jan 2026 (4 weeks ago)Absolutely unacceptable service. We have been waiting for months for this state agency to fix our boiler. Every time we call, we are given empty promises and excuses. Someone is always “scheduled to come,” yet nobody ever turns up. Living without a properly working boiler for this long is unacceptable, especially from an agency that is supposed to support residents. This level of incompetence and lack of care is shocking.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
