24th Mar 2026 (9 days ago)I had a very positive experience with Sovereign House agency since the day I booked a viewing appointmnt to rent my current flat. Their team is consistently responsive, very professional and supportive; ensuring everything is handled smoothly. I would particularly like to mention “Jimmy Castle”, who was exceptionally helpful and approachable. He consistently was chasing up on the issue with my flat’s ceiling for almost 2months, to ensure it is resolved as quickly as possible, which I am truly grateful. I would highly recommend Sovereign House to anyone whois looking for a reliable service.

Sal is a particularly helpful agent, who goes the extra mile to find the best possible properties for the tenants he advices, and the best possible tenants for the landlords he is working for.
8th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)We have recently let our second flat from Alwyne Estates. Freddie has been incredibly helpful, very responsive with any queries, and has a great insight into the market. Would highly recommend.
15th Aug 2025 (7 mo. ago)By far the worst agency I have ever rented from. Was left with a leaking ceiling in my bedroom for several months with minor support from the carter and reeves and they continuously choose to ghost us instead of dealing with issues. When they did book repairs in we would usually have less than 12 hours notice, and received significant attitude and rude comments if we weren’t available with less than 12 hours notice. The only way they would fix things is if we threatened to get external support or not pay rent. I suggest staying very far away as renting from them will severely impact your mental health. Michael especially was inaccessible and barely answered when we reached out. I suggest not renting from them if you want to maintain your sanity.

15th Dec 2025 (15 weeks ago)We rented a flat in Greenwich via Daniel Watney for the past year and a half, before we relocated to the other side of London. I would not hesitate to rent from them again. The team were friendly and attentive, and the few repairs we needed during our time there were fixed very quickly. The end of tenancy process was smooth. They let us break out of our tenancy 3 weeks early, and we received our full deposit back too. Would recommend them!

Mark and team in contrast lined up a tonne of viewings within days of the ad going live. I had an offer the next day. Mark kept on top of the process all the way through, oiling the wheels throughout to keep everything on track. A safe and reliable pair of hands. Definitely recommend.

20th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)This is a horrible letting agency. They took all of our deposit, the entire two month deposit. £2500 gone. They WILL exploit you. They will take your money. I even paid close to £300 on the professional cleaning service that this good for nothing agency suggested. We paid all of our rents on time, all bills on time. Kept the property like we were living in our own home. If you are unfortunate enough to have to take a house with them i suggest you do not engage with agent called LUKE PEGG. if you are hearing from this man they will be taking your money. I hope this agency goes out of business. No one reads comments but if you are reading this AVOID SAMUEL ESTATE AND LUKE PEGG. Scam, exploitative, unprofessional.

6th Mar 2026 (27 days ago)So glad I didn’t end up renting with this company after my extremely poor experience and seeing these reviews online. Communication was terrible, arrived at the my pre-booked appointment after calling the office 4 times to get more information about the location. Was told to come back the next day to see two properties which were on for £300pcm more than the one I originally requested, both of which thy stated ‘we currently have multiple offers on both’. Overhyped and overrated, this is all that is wrong with the property market in London. Don’t waste your time.

Their team have always been friendly and helpful whenever we've had queries with the flat, and always been on hand when repairs have been needed. Their communation is promt and clear, welcoming and approachable, and the two property managers we have been liaising with recognise us whenever we've needed to stop by for some admin or to drop papers off. A really personable service, and a lovely and refreshing change compared to previous agencies!

Aside from the online referencing system (which didn’t seem to recognise my ability to pay rent as a self employed person in London - “computer says no”) - the process was very smooth and Dean was great to deal with.
