8th Feb 2024 (12 weeks ago)I was rented a place glad just for a year from them.i was signed contract with Mark , at beginning of signed contract I was charged extra cost for transferring money (£30 which should be mentioned at beginning) other wise I will be given them cash. At beginning me and my husband told that we looking for property to be managed by agency not by landlord. After when we move to the property I raised few issues which need to solved , andnothing happened. I've been left to deal with landlord by myself. As they don't deal with property. So they just trick me to signed the contract. At the end of my tenancy, I received a email from landlord regarding extra things which they was not included in my tenancy so I contract with agency. Mark was aware that landlord request my to do professional carpet cleaning at the end , so I ask him if he can show to me a paragraph from tenancy . He replied to me by email that I can do carpet steaming which is same things. So I decided to see him face to face at the branch. I got that feeling straight away that I'm not welcome , completely avoid the answer to my question, when another estate agent pop in to the branch simply he made me to leave. Just avoid this company , like other says in them reviews. I would give them - 5.
2nd Feb 2024 (12 weeks ago)Hobarts Alexandra Park Office were our local sole agents during the sale of our leasehold converted flat in the Alexandra Park area during 2022. It turned out to be a really complicated and delayed transaction due to a previous breach in the lease problem which our solicitors seemingly 'missed' when we first purchased, with the problem arising after the sale was agreed and the buyer's mortgage approved. Hobarts Sales Manager, (Kaush Mistry) was very aware concerning both his applicant's and client's 'needs', with Director, (Chris Davenport) similarly so. This small company runs on customer-friendly basis, with their office staff being efficient and helpful whenever I/my wife needed to liaise. Thus, relative to our experience with Hobarts, we have no reservations in recommending this Estate Agency to buyers and sellers.

Not only sis he give me advice on the sale of my property buy one I was purchasing having as well, which was above what he needed to do. James and David found a buyer quickly and it was the process from offer to completion is where they excelled even more. David outlined the time and and stages and would literally update me every week. He would contact all parties involved. He cut through anything irrelevant and just gave me the info I needed to know. Absolutely fantastic job. And really nice people

Susan was nothing but exceptional, friendly, quick to her responses and positive! Her attitude really made a huge different to the whole process, she put us straight at ease. 12th Jan 2024 (15 weeks ago)1 star is too much for this establishment, the worst estate agent known to man, I would not trust them at all, kept over 50% of out deposit for a small stain on the carpet, and charged us for a professional cleaning service at the end of the tenancy, when it was never cleaned when we first moved in, I got the entire flat pained before moving out but charges as for marks on the wall. They will invade your privacy with unannounced property visits and use the set of key they hold to gain entry. Very very bad communication. I would head for the hills if I came across them again Good luck and stay away

27th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)I did appoint JBrown to sell my property in Bromley and I was very happy at the beginning about the way they approached me and how they worked to get the property on the market quickly. Soon after they changed quite a lot in terms of communication, Zara used to reply randomly ( basically when she got a chance ) whilst Komal (owner)never replied to my emails.( she should learn how to deal with people). Despite that was a clear sight of a lack of professionalism, I left things going ahead smoothly. Zara kept me informed about the buyer's interest in seeing the property and I arranged access all the time. Then I had to chase her to receive feedback from customers, she never made them aware of the outcome or sending any REPORT. Even though I left them to carry on their job. They eventually got 2 offers and let me know to appoint a solicitor which I did. Both times buyers pulled out and she never contacted me to let me know, on the contrary, I had to call to find out what happened. I am still not sure if she really received any offers because I never received proof of that. The 12-week agreement came to an end and I previously let them know by email that I would not renew the mandate( no response at all as usual). Finally, I chased them again to remove my property from the market but they either removed it or replied to my emails. After 2 weeks of waiting for them I decided to contact Rightmove, and Zoopla etc explain the matter and they removed the property immediately. This morning magically I received an email From Zara saying that my property has now been removed! You are a team of liars, hopefully, people will be away from such an unprofessional “Estate Agency”.. I lost time but you lost quite a lot of money. That's what you deserve!!!

Tom and his team are great to work with and their fees are far more reasonable than other ‘household’ names in the business. Who says you need to pay more for a personal touch? Highly recommended to any homeowner looking to become a landlord.
