This was not a prime property with a huge fee awaited. Nonetheless, the service was consistently attentive and pro-active. Many thanks also to Todd who organised all viewings smoothly and helped secure the final offer.

From the outset, Howard and Max were honest, professional, and clearly knowledgeable about the local area. Their straightforward approach made the process feel smooth and reassuring. As a local agency, Burghleys offers a level of consistency and personal service that you simply don’t get with larger corporate firms—where you’re often passed between different agents. We really appreciated dealing with the same familiar faces throughout. Highly recommended.

23rd Oct 2024 (8 mo. ago)I had a really disappointing experience with this agency. I was really excited about moving into a new flat, but the agency made the whole process super stressful. first they kept changing the move-in date last minute, which messed up all my plans. It felt like they just didnt care about how it affected me. On top of that, their communication was terrible. Every time I tried to get an update, they either didnt respond or gave me a vague answer. It felt like they were just stalling the whole time. And when I finally got to see the flat again before moving in, it was not at all like they described. There were issues with the place that they never mentioned before. In the end, I had to scramble to find another place because I just couldn’t trust them anymore. I struggled for months to get my money back, the whole experience was a nightmare, and I’d never go through them again. If you're looking for a reliable agency, this definitely isnt it.

Jason is exceptionally knowledgable about the local area and the likely prices that are achievable (in fact, he sold my flat to me 14 years ago!) That knowledge led to me achieving a price above the marketing price within 3 days of the property going to market. The best experience; and the best local estate agency in the area (in my view). Jason, Ruby and Leah provided a first class service all round.

25th Jun 2025 (13 days ago)Trustworthy and efficient, friendly service from start to finish! Appointed Ewemove North Finchley to sell my parents residence. In an extremely competitive high street we went with Ewemove as Alfie, Khilan and Shabnam all displayed the highest level of knowledge of the market, detailed knowledge of the area and were the friendliest and most down-to-earth with no nonsense approach. Alfie in particular spent 90 mins with my parents explaining the whole process from start to finish and alleviating all their concerns, much more than any high street agent was able to do! Although not the cheapest agent they displayed the highest level of integrity and trust in the marketing and negotiation process. Would highly recommend the team to sell your home if you're unsure about the process and need extra hand holding, or just for a chat about the local market!

The Account Department has been helpful in addressing my clarifications regarding the expenses and receivables related to our property. From the moment I paid the holding deposit, the service went completely downhill. Chante Scott, who was my main point of contact, was incredibly unprofessional. As soon as I paid the holding deposit, she stopped responding to my messages and emails altogether. I had to chase her constantly for updates, and even after being promised that my refund would be processed within 5 working days, it took a shocking 3 weeks. I was left in the dark, with no communication, and forced to follow up every single day. It was beyond frustrating. What made the situation even worse was that I had to escalate it to the CEO and directors to get any movement. Their lack of urgency and utter disregard for customer service is appalling. Michael, another staff member, wasn’t much better. His approach was just as unhelpful, and extremely rude and at no point did I feel that anyone at Johns&Co cared about resolving the issue promptly. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this agency. Their unprofessionalism, poor communication, and complete lack of accountability made this one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. Zero stars if I could give them that!
3rd Jul 2025 (5 days ago)this agent is holding my deposit for 15 days, i have not got my money back nor contract, i have been asking them to return deposit if they are not proceeding tenancy but they keep delaying to return it everyday. even though i passed references , it seems they are very unprofessional.

Jonathan showed us around the property and answered all of our questions. Both Jonathan and Athena were clear in what they needed from us for the referencing checks, Athena was able to turn this around quickly. They kept me constantly updated throughout the process, and they were both always available to answer my phone calls. Overall, I would highly recommend their services.
21st May 2025 (7 weeks ago)Rented from these folks for about 9 1/2 years. Loved the property managers, never had any problems until landlords hiked the rent in 2023 and wouldn’t negotiate. Length of communication silence meant the agency left me with about two weeks to move out and sent several insistent emails saying I had to vacate the premises in that period, which was rough after such a long tenancy and isn’t in keeping with what tenants are actually legally able to do. I was eventually able to get a small lease extension and moved, but it really felt dreadful to be treated that way as a long-time client.

From start to finish, their service was professional, proactive, and reassuring—everything you want during what can often be a stressful process. A special mention must go to Annabel, who was simply excellent throughout. Her communication was flawless—always keeping me in the loop with honest updates and sound advice. She clearly knows the market inside out and worked tirelessly to ensure the sale moved smoothly and efficiently. I felt completely confident in her hands and appreciated her calm, confident approach at every stage. Thanks to Annabel and the team at Neilson & Bauer, the entire process was seamless, and the outcome exceeded my expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to sell in the area. Truly a first-class service.
