25th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)My friend and I have rented our first flat with Rochester Place last year in Camden. All the process from booking a viewing to moving into the flat was so smooth and quick. Reece and Abdul were 5 stars on helping us with all the information we needed as well as if we had anything questions regarding any paperwork. His team was always there to help out and ready to answer any questions even through our tenancy. Definitely recommend Rochester Place if you want to rent a flat or buy a property with them.

21st Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Hanan at JLL Woodberry Down lettings has been an incredible and invaluable support in my relocation with my family to Cityview Apartments. From the moment I called the office in December to my move on 28th March, the process was not only seamless but enjoyable! As a long term homeowner who had not rented for over 20 years, my experience and knowledge of renting was very limited; Hanan held and guided me through the process step by step. No question or query was too 'silly' or small. I was able to manage the move far better by being able to get full clarity on the property, measurements etc and get a full comprehensive and detailed onboarding pack which was invaluable. She even helped me measure up and lent me a tape measure! I have made introductions to my friends seeking rental in this area and would highly recommend Hanan. As a now local resident I have bumped into Hanan and she has checked on how I am getting on which is a lovely personal and 'above and beyond' approach. Moving can be very stressful so I am very grateful to have found such a supportive and helpful person and team to take me through the process!

Rahman was taking very good care of us, prioritising our benefit throughout. I don't think I could have made such a great purchase of it wasn't for them. I am forever indebted

I worked with the company back in 2019 - 2021 and left due to poor management. Staff were treated so unprofessionally and it started to affect my mental health. Recently the two owners parted ways and they reached out to me again and asked if i wanted to work with them again. They promised me things have changed and the way they work is much better. I clearly did not last long there, considering that i am leaving this review 3 months after rejoining. I feel compelled to share my thoughts and insights. From the moment I rejoined the company, I noticed a concerning lack of transparency and ethical practices. The management seemed more focused on making quick profits rather than providing quality service to clients. One of the most alarming aspects of this estate agency was their consistent disregard for laws and regulations. They would often cut corners and bend rules to maximize their own gains, leaving clients vulnerable and uninformed. The lack of proper documentation, misleading advertising, and hidden fees were all common occurrences. Furthermore, there was a prevailing culture of dishonesty within the company. Agents were encouraged to use high-pressure tactics and misleading information to secure sales, often at the expense of the clients' best interests. This not only tarnished the reputation of the agency but also created an unhealthy and toxic work environment. Another concerning aspect was the lack of professionalism and accountability. Many of my colleagues lacked the necessary qualifications and experience, which resulted in poor customer service and inadequate advice. Moreover, when faced with complaints or issues, the management would often dismiss or ignore them, leaving clients frustrated and dissatisfied. Overall, my time at this dodgy estate agency was disheartening and has left a lasting negative impression. The lack of integrity, transparency, and professionalism made it impossible for me to continue working there. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly research alternative options.
23rd Feb 2023 (1 year ago)Raphael was absolutely brilliant. We had a very tight deadline by which to get our house under offer and he got us a great offer by the deadline. He kept us updated throughout the process and he was really pleasant to our small children, making them at ease when there were so many people looking round the house. He did a great job and we are so grateful to him.
20th Feb 2024 (23 weeks ago)Excellent lettings, horrible tenancy management. I rented my apartment in 2020 through 'Reliable Homes' which was later acquired by 'Drivers & Norris'. After this acquisition, getting a reply from the agency on any non-emergency issue became a test of patience, though to their credit they would 'eventually' get the issue resolved. Few times this became extremely stressful, for example when it took me 6 months and several emails, including notices of formal complaint to the The Property Ombudsman, to get my tenancy deposit back after vacating the apartment in a perfectly fine condition.

This has got to be the most inept real estate service in all of Central London! I spent over half an hour standing at the property, completely ignored, with no one even bothering to open the door. The agent was nowhere to be seen—no guidance, no support, nothing for a potential tenant eager to view the property. What a colossal waste of time! And then, when all is said and done, all I got was a feeble "I do apologize." Seriously? Your apology is worthless at this point. A word of advice to anyone looking in London: steer clear of Jack Barclay Estates unless you want your time utterly wasted by the "best" renting company. Utterly disgraceful!
11th Jul 2024 (16 days ago)I had a great experience selling my flat with Element properties. Communication with George and Hiten from the start of the process was excellent. They listed my property with beautiful pictures and found me a buyer very quickly. My sale process was slow due to solicitor debates but Hiten was so helpful throughout the process. He liaised with my buyer on my behalf and kept me up to date with things I needed to know. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality and integrity in an estate agent. A pleasure to work with you and thanks again for your service.

2nd Jul 2024 (25 days ago)I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Simone and Amin from the sales progression team at David Astburys—Estate Agents Islington N1, and I cannot praise them enough. They managed to close our sale in under seven weeks, which is an impressive feat. Their attention to detail and adherence to a solid process really paid off. But what stood out the most was their helpfulness and positivity. Nothing was ever a problem for them, and their upbeat attitude made the whole experience stress-free. Having been through the selling/buying process before, I can confidently say this has been the best experience. The entire team at David Astburys N1 is professional and excellent. Thank you for your exceptional service. I highly recommend David Astburys N1 to anyone needing estate agent services. - 12th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)I dislike having to leave negative reviews especially when Foxton's comes so highly recommended but my experience was nothing short of terrible. I found a flat through the company and upon receiving the lease, the legal document was full of typos and mistakes. Upon paying the deposit and signing the lease, I was told at 6pm that I had to make the 12 month upfront overseas rental payment that day or I would risk losing the property. This was never raised to me before they demanded the payment out of business hours. After paying the deposit and signing the lease, I was informed that the property had fallen through. I had already made arrangements to move and was forced to resign my current lease. I then had to get my deposit back and had to call numerous times as my emails were ignored. Additionally, I was informed by the deposit insurance company that my deposit was no longer protected. I eventually got my deposit back after numerous emails and phone calls. Throughout my time with Foxtons, the team was ill informed and unprofessional forcing me to resolve most of the issues myself. I understand this may have been one bad experience, however, I strongly advise against using this company unless you absolutely have to.
