He consistently kept me informed and was always proactive in his approach. I truly appreciate his efforts and highly recommend him.
28th Nov 2025 (18 days ago)I do not recollect contacting them as i moved out of Hemel, however they randomly sent an email in 2023 and then again in 2025 a random email by Rique who is their sales manager. I told Rique to remove my details from their system and although he confirmed he did, i still receive emails with the last one sent today. Under GDPR they shouldnt be holding my data. Considering they are addressing me with wrong name is clear that they dont care about GDPR. I would avoid based on their dishonesty about details being removed when in fact arent and emails are still sent!
23rd Nov 2025 (23 days ago)Sellers should be extremely cautious — my experience felt pressurising and deeply unprofessional My experience with Bairstow Eves Romford was extremely distressing. I felt pushed, rushed, and pressured to sell my property at a price far below its true value. When I didn’t agree to the reduction, events took a very concerning turn. Shortly after refusing to lower the price, the council contacted me due to a report claiming I was running an unlicensed HMO. This allegation was completely false, and the council confirmed that my tenants are a single household with a valid selective licence. During the visit, the council worker told me who had made the report. I will not repeat the name publicly, but the timing made the whole situation feel highly suspicious and left me feeling that certain individuals were prepared to use tactics that, in my opinion, felt deceptive and designed to pressure me into selling. While I cannot state the intentions of others, the sequence of events made me believe that some methods used in my case were not in good faith and did not feel ethical or professional. Based on this experience, I strongly advise sellers to proceed with extreme caution. Document everything, question any pressure to reduce your price, and be aware that, in my experience, the approach used felt manipulative and far from transparent.- 25th Nov 2025 (21 days ago)I just wanted to say a massive thank you to kara at Bairstow Eves. She has honestly been amazing to deal with. From the first time I spoke to her, she was friendly, helpful, and really easy to talk to. She kept me updated with everything and always made sure I understood what was going on. What I liked most was that she didn’t make me feel rushed or like I was bothering her — she actually took her time to help me properly. Any questions I had, she answered straight away. It made the whole process so much less stressful. If anyone is dealing with Bairstow Eves, I’d definitely recommend asking for Kara. She’s been brilliant and really made a difference.

2nd Dec 2025 (14 days ago)HOME did a wonderful job finding us a buyer at asking price, in under 2 weeks from the advert going live. We were on with a different agent previously, they came in with a revised plan of how to market, and found quality potential buyers from the get go. The quick turnaround enabled us to get an offer accepted on our ideal house. We were in competition with a few parties, all of whom needed to sell there own property first, HOME'S effectiveness is the reason we were able to get our future home. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone, and wouldn't hesitate to use again in future.
13th Dec 2025 (3 days ago)Me and my partner purchased our first property through Nest back in August and Rob Butterworth was an absolute star from the very first viewing right through to completion. Very friendly, proactive and understanding of busy work schedules but was very quick to respond whatever time of day I messaged, being able to WhatsApp as opposed to just emails or calls was so convenient as well. Everything went so smoothly with no issues and I know Rob was as amazing with the vendors as he was with us. Thanks very much Rob and we would definitely want to go with Rob/ Nest when we go to sell in the future.

Earlier this year, the house that we spent many stressful months trying to secure fell through just before the finish line leaving us feeling hopeless. We were dreading starting the process from square one again but thought we’d give it another shot when we came across a property we liked listed by Chalk Street. The service was truly exceptional, particularly from Jack and Mandy. From the very first viewing, Jack was so informative and professional who clearly knew his stuff. Mandy was just fantastic and easy to deal with. We quickly realised that we did not need to constantly be on the phone trying to chase relevant parties because everything was always handled. Any communication we did have with staff was always so friendly and helpful which made the whole process easy. No patronising tones and no calling us a billion times a day. Honestly, I could go on. I was super impressed by the efficiency of their booking system for viewings and the lie communication has been brilliant. Sold my house quickly and couldn’t be happier with their service.

Like all property transactions, issues arose and the team were always willing to help us put them right. Their personal touch was very welcome in a world where that can be rare. I recommend them over the larger agencies.
9th Dec 2025 (7 days ago)We had a tricky buyer with a solicitor which was stalling the legal works down by a few months and carter and willow kept communicating with the buyer and their solicitor to speed things along. The sale most definately would have fallen through had they not kept up the communication. I would recommend them.
6th Nov 2025 (6 weeks ago)UPDATE Les, The properties we wanted to view are still showing after some 3 weeks as unsold. Your staff who answers the phone keeps fobbing us off each time we call up to view a property with promises to get back to us which has never happened. This has been a deliberate policy. She ask us what is our budget and if we give a figure in line with the guide price she doesn't follow-up with the viewing request. It's like asking us how much we intend to offer on the property, which isn't something we want to disclose even before viewing the property. We don't get this behaviour Leonard & Hill and other estate agents who are very professional. .......................................... My wife and I tried to arrange a few viewings with this estate agents on several occasions but each time they tell us they will speak to the property owners and get back to us but they never do. This is despite the fact that the properties we want to view are within our budget. Very disappointing.

His communication was outstanding—reliable, clear, and proactive at every stage. Even when delays and issues arose with the buyers’ solicitors, he never let things stall. He kept following up, pushing for progress, and making sure our interests were always protected. I genuinely think without Dan’s proactive involvement, the legal process would have dragged for months. His dedication, professionalism, and commitment made a stressful process far smoother, and we’re genuinely grateful for the effort he put in. Anyone looking for an agent who truly works for you will be in excellent hands with him.

Gave them a quick call and they laid out loads of solid investment options with proper returns, not the usual fluff you get from other places. They know their market inside out and make it really easy to compare deals. If you’re into building long-term income, these guys are definitely worth speaking to.
