11th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)Excellent individual agents, namely Shemron Mark, but I do not rate the Hoowla app or the Sales Progressor who was allocated to us. Terrible communications and slow updating of the app from this person. That aside, overall, Acorn gave a good service from the first meeting with Jake who I found very professional, through the process with Shem dealing with our buyer who was quite awkward at times through to the exchange then completion. Recommended company but not app.
8th Jul 2024 (19 days ago)We sold a property (in SE18) with Paul Allen at Beaumont Gibbs and the service was outstanding from beginning to end. We had initially had a brief experience with him prior to selling our property and were pleased with his straightforward, polite and informative manner. When it came to going through the sale, which did have some complicating factors, he was extremely helpful at every stage. He was able to give us good guidance on valuation, introductions to conveyancing solicitors and was always available at short notice to support with negotiations and to help secure the sale. Thank you!

10th May 2024 (11 weeks ago)Alex James and Callum were very kind, helpful, patient yet where necessary and appropriate weren't afraid to be direct and plain with me, and in Alex James's words it was to help me and I don't doubt that at all. He provided useful, helpful tips when I was experiencing feelings of being overwhelmed to be calm and collected yet respectful towards our new and upcoming landlord and general other tips for how any tenant is informed of things. I'm not surprised they've got such positive, spectacular reviews. It's a family owned and run estate agency too but overall have felt greatly supported and helped throughout the referencing and anything else they were to do to help our landlord. I have no problem recommending this estate agency, they seem very well knowledged, experienced, helpful, kind, patient yet also very honest. Thank you to Alex James and Callum you've been an honour to correspond with. Anyone who can be as good with me as they have been is worth this recommendation and honest review. Edit: Point of criticism/feedback: They should make it known more clearly than expecting or asking someone to read the Ts and Cs that they're allowed to pass on your details to utility companies as it was rather stressful to discover when I had attempts from companies to set things up and emails telling me they had, the utility companies that is and I prefer to do things myself. And ask if you want them to pass on your details or not. As when I asked about that they said it's possible. Constructive intended feedback ^

In our case, we were actually selling and buying a house from the same branch of Adam Hayes and Mina handled the entire situation very delicately and professionally from the day we met him to the day we completed on both properties! No concern or request was too big or too small for him, he was always straight on to it and working on getting things sorted. He made the whole process much smoother and less painful than we had anticipated! We are very grateful to him and Adam Hayes for the excellent service they provided to us.

She was always in contact with us and prompt when meeting with her. We had to arrange multiple viewings of the house and she was always happy to accommodate. She was very knowledgeable of the property and area. She was super supportive and always in touch with us to keep us updated during the process. We couldn't recommend her enough and JDM! I spent over half an hour standing at the property, completely ignored, with no one even bothering to open the door. The agent was nowhere to be seen—no guidance, no support, nothing for a potential tenant eager to view the property. What a colossal waste of time! And then, when all is said and done, all I got was a feeble "I do apologize." Seriously? Your apology is worthless at this point. A word of advice to anyone looking in London: steer clear of Jack Barclay Estates unless you want your time utterly wasted by the "best" renting company. Utterly disgraceful!
