14th Oct 2024 (23 weeks ago)Just purchased a house being sold through Hamptons and really cannot reccomend them enough. Professional, communicative and went above and beyond to keep things moving. Particular shoutout to Callum, who was always tuned in and played an enormous role in driving communication and mediating any issues that arose. If we ever move again, we are definitely picking Hamptons as our agents!

He got back to our questions within the working day, was happy to meet for second, third, and fourth viewings, and kept calm and friendly during the entire purchasing process. 10/10.

15th Sep 2024 (6 mo. ago)I would not recommend Stapleton Long and would give zero stars. We rented from them for four years and finally moved out due to ongoing disrepair. Despite a persistent leak and flaking paint in one of the bedrooms, the landlords continued to band-aid the issue and, upon pushing for it to be properly addressed, they claimed the landlords had "spent a lot of money on the property and are reluctant to spend more." We lived with unsightly walls, damp from the leak and mould and unresolved problems for almost the entire tenancy. We were advised that our landlords owned multiple properties in the surrounding streets and they ‘kept our rent lower, because they were aware of some issues. Their other properties are rented for more.” This made it clear that Stapleton Long prioritises landlords' interests over tenants' and the landlords refused to fix these fundamental issues. After all the mental stress, anxiety, and even intimidation tactics (stating that, ‘as a gesture of good will, if we were unhappy, we could give 30 days notice to vacate’, which was clearly in their best interest, rather than ours), we had no choice but to leave. It's telling that after all this, they are now advertising the property as ‘recently refurbished’ for £400 per month more than we were paying. Avoid this estate agent if you value your peace of mind and well-being.

The team was incredibly helpful, supportive, and genuinely dedicated to selling our property and securing the best possible price. We would not hesitate to use them again and wholeheartedly recommend them to others, as they truly deliver on their promises—and then some.

His hard work was invaluable in resolving problems and facilitating good communication between different parties. Much appreciated.
1st Mar 2025 (22 days ago)Overall, a positive experience. The viewings were good, i don’t think they pushed for the most money, but I didn't ask them too so not really a negative. I do think the post sale service needs a lot of work though - I am the one pushing everything along, and chasing the agent and both solicitors, and more could be done to be more pro active. But the sales process was good overall.

As the property was a renovation project, I asked several times to revisit the property to take measurements etc to speed up the process once complete - Bradley & Sarah couldn’t have been more accommodating with access and getting me into the property. I didn’t feel under any ‘salesman’s’ chat - just good advice, knowledge of the property and area. Thanks again for the smooth process!
