3rd Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)I cannot rate Hilton King and Locke highly enough, particularly Jenny Hall (Head of Lettings). From my first contact with Jenny, she has gone above and beyond to find a wonderful home for my wife and I to rent. Unlike many of the other estate agents I had spent weeks trying to contact to arrange viewings, Jenny got back to me almost immediately and booked me into to see two properties at short notice – the first of which we loved and ultimately rented. This was particularly helpful because my wife and I had only a short amount of time to find a property to rent and were returning from having lived overseas for two years. Jenny was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and transparent which was also very reassuring for me as a tenet. Once we moved into the property, Jenny and the entire Hilton Locke and King team have been fantastic in resolving a few teething problems which are an inevitable part of renting any property. Not only did Jenny work tirelessly to coordinate between us and the landlord but she also intervened with several third parties to help get our issue resolved. The issues were dealt with promptly and with great sensitivity and care. More than that, Jenny was incredibly personable with my wife, to the extent that she went as far as to buy my wife flowers – something which was incredibly appreciated as we waited for an issue to be resolved. I really cannot rate Hilton Locke and King highly enough. Having previously had some bad experiences renting, I never thought that I would be writing such a positive review for an estate agent. If you are looking for a property to rent in and around the Langley area as we were, however, Hilton Locke and King come strongly recommended.

Lizzie in particular went above and beyond at every stage of the process and was both patient, knowledgable and extremely kind. Communication was excellent through out. We are so grateful that our Mum has now successfully moved into her new home.

24th Apr 2024 (8 days ago)Would not recommend this. My flatmates and I had the worst experience as (international students) tenants. They wouldn't return our calls and emails even in some emergency cases and rarely solved the tenants' issues. Maintenance was weak as well. It was last year but I'm still having nightmares about it, it cased us so much stress and anxiety. I hope I never have to use their service again.

Having not moved home for almost 25 years, we were very nervous about the process, but nothing was too much trouble for the team and my numerous, no doubt annoying constant phone calls were always dealt with swiftly & professionally. Would recommend for anyone looking in the area to go with Alpha, just a shame there is no physical location available.

3rd Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)Im shocked at the level of lack professionalism disreguard of potential tennents aswell of lack of care. I arranged a viewing for saturday. Its a good job i called up to confirm and check the address. Turns out my viewing had been cancelled as property was gone. No one called me to update me. I would of been standing out side waiting in the rain and no one would of been coming. To add insult to the matter, when asked why i wasnt informed i was told there was 40-50 people viewing, they didnt have time to call so many people. The lack of care and whatever attidtude is some what concerning. So basicaly we dont care about letting you know you been cancelled. Leads me to wounder if they are the same with tennants. If something needs replacing or fixing will they even respond?
9th Sep 2021 (2 years ago)We recently sold our house through Gibbs in Pinner and had a very smooth and efficient experience. Adam in particular was key in all this as he understood and circumvented challenges of selling a home with two young children. Viewings were arranged to suit us around childcare and block booked. We were kept informed of updates throughout the process. And advised with our best interests in mind when one issue with the house was presented. All in all can’t recommend them and him enough. He really took care of us and made the process seem easy and stress free!

5th Apr 2024 (27 days ago)An absolutely amazing team. We worked with both Mary-Joy & Tony and they assisted us in viewings and purchase of a property. They have been incredible and so friendly and so proactive - they chased up all the people that need chasing on our behalf which I just really appreciated so that I wasn't spending my free time trying to chase them instead. From when our offer was first accepted on the property to completion it was all within 5 months (which in the property business is a good turn around!) and Tony was so friendly and I felt comfortable telling him about everything including any hiccups. Rwhitley & Co already have a strong reputation as a good estate agent and it's because of employees like Tony & Mary-Joy that make up the backbone of this place. 100% highly recommend
