27th Aug 2024 (15 days ago)We have had experience of dealing with John Goodwin Estate Agents for more than 3 years whilst helping first a relative and then when looking for our own home. In that time, we dealt with numerous Estate agents across Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, and Worcestershire. Some were okay, many were appalling, and some stood out as excellent, with genuine hard-working staff who had not only their own clients, but the customer's interests at heart too. John Goodwin is clearly in this final category. Not simply because they found us our home, but because throughout the entire experience, they treated us with kindness, respect, listened to our needs, and offered help in any way they could. Always professional, they ensured we were kept informed of potential properties and bent over backwards to accommodate us with viewings. When we finally found the right property, they continued to work with us and support us through the whole process, offering recommendations for other professional services, such as Surveyors and Solicitors and ensuring all continued to go smoothly. Having been used to an entirely different system in Scotland, we were grateful for the advice and guidance provided. Although we didn’t experience selling a property with them, I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to use them if I were to sell. I cannot recommend them enough to any prospective purchaser and just wish that more Estate agents in England offered a similar service. Thank you!!

From the first management of the bidding process to the handover of the keys on completion Tom’s was a calm and reassuring voice. We are confident that he served the Vendors well but from the moment our offer was accepted we felt he was on our side too. The very few issues were smoothly managed. A personal touch throughout.
10th Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)Beware of this Estate Agency - Specifically check before proceeding with an offer or purchase through G Herbert Banks, if they are aware of any active AG TAG attached to a property they are actively marketing for sale (be it with or without a Certificate of Lawfulness) it might save you a lot of money, time, effort and heartache in the long run.
15th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)Shelley provided us with an excellent service from start to finish. We had a property that was relatively easy to sell, but slightly complicated by the fact it was going through probate. Clear communication with potential buyers ensured that there were no slip ups with a slightly longer than usual sale process. We could have appointed other agents for a lower fee, but I think the coverage and marketing from Knight Frank ensured we maximised the sale price and even after any additional agent fees we likely received the best price we could. Also good work from Giselle the sales progressor in seeing it all over the line.
19th Aug 2024 (23 days ago)Dixons were great from start to finish. We were first time buyers and very anxious stepping into the unknown with buying our first house. The team supported us throughout and no question was a stupid question. When our first property wasn’t progressing, due to the sellers, they were straight on the phone as soon as they found a suitable alternative property which met our needs. We managed to view before it went on the market and had the offer accepted within a few days. I could not recommend Dixons any higher. Big thanks to Christine and the entire team for their continued support and help with buying our first home.

We are buying in another area and i just happened to show the video and brochure to another estate agent they were so impressed with the quality and lengths they go to , he said it’s the best he's seen . 15th Aug 2024 (27 days ago)I cannot recommend Free Agent enough! We sold our house with Free Agent in April after having an awful experience with Connels. We were under time pressure as we were moving location and Daniel, Chanelle and the team were incredible! From the first meeting with Daniel where he honestly valued my house and showed me what else was going in the market, he gave me a lot of background knowledge and made me feel at ease straight away. Daniel and Chanelle then came to do the photos and videos of my property and they were outstanding! I loved the fact that Free Agent do a video for social media as it is very current and properties get much more interest this way! Within 24 hours of my house going on the market, I had 5 viewings booked it! It was insane! My house went online on the Thursday and sold the following a Tuesday! It was previously up with Connels and I had no viewings for 6 weeks! Even once my sale had been confirmed, Chanelle’s communication was second to none. She would regularly send me messages to see if I needed anything from her or if she needed to chase the sellers for anything. Communication was outstanding. As we have now moved down south, we unfortunately won’t get to use Free Agent again but I would use them again in a heart beat and would recommend to anyone selling their house!!

My house purchase and sale did not go smoothly - as part of a chain of 6 I do believe that, without EmDot leading the communication and negotiating between all parties, the chain would have fallen apart. I can not recommend them enough, Kate & Rachael went above and beyond what you would expect from any normal estate agents and I would 100% use them again.
