13th Jun 2026 (15 days ago)Terrible agent, shown up for how poor they were by the quality of every other agent in our purchase chain. Our vendor, who was using their services, views them as dreadful, our own agent who had to deal with them complained of exactly the same slow and unhelpful service that we had. On completion, initially didn't even know it had happened, completely hopeless, miserable experience and didnt even have keys to hand over, with no attempt to resolve matters. The vendor was an elderly client and got entirely insufficient support from them. If it were not for our proactive solicitors arranging for keys direct from the vendor, no doubt we would still be waiting to move in. 0 Stars isn't an option, so 1 star it is.
13th Sep 2025 (9 mo. ago)The only element of concern was the property was valued too high and I had to reduce on a couple of occasions and then accepted an offer lower than the reduction.
19th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)Alex came to value our property. He arrived fully up to date on local property values and brought along printouts of similar properties to ours. He had researched the sold prices of properties as well as the asking prices of current houses for sale. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and realistic whilst being friendly and approachable. I would totally recommend Bridgfords in Halifax if you're looking for an estate agent to sell your property.

Especially impressed by the quality of the viewings where are assigned viewing agent knew our property in and out, and was able to guage interest extremely effecitvely

Carolyn who showed me round was professional, polite and knowledgeable. Throughout the 10 month process we dealt with all members of the team, and they were all so diligent and understanding. Special thanks to Mandy who supported to get things over the line in the last few weeks. We cannot recommend Wilman and Wilman enough!
28th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)My experience with Hamilton bower was excellent. Friendly staff on the ball and very intentive. Sold my property very quickly. Della was especially helpful offering to help with filling in any paper work from the conveyancer I thought that was a nice touch.

Buying a property can often be a stressful process, but he consistently kept things moving, communicated clearly and always made himself available whenever I had questions or needed an update. He was not simply facilitating a sale; he was actively managing the process and ensuring all parties remained aligned throughout. I have worked with many professionals over the years and can honestly say that Shezad is a cut above. 24th Apr 2026 (9 weeks ago)We decided to go down the professional let route, due to the complexity regarding the new laws, some of which is clear as mud! I spoke with Andrew and went in to meet him and Eleanor, both I have to say were totally 'on it'. Really professional approach, this has taken so much stress away from the whole situation. We had a glitch halfway through the process, but it was sorted. If you are looking for a fully managed, stress free professional let, go no further! ??????

7th Sep 2024 (1 year ago)Our first contact with Linley & Simpson to let a property was with Hollie Landi. She was totally on our case from day 1 & kept us informed of each and every development! Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!

8th Jun 2026 (20 days ago)I would absolutely not recommend using this estate agent. The level of communication throughout the sale was extremely disappointing. Urgent matters regularly went unanswered for days, and I often found myself having to chase for updates rather than being kept informed proactively. As the sale progressed, it felt like I was doing the majority of the chasing myself, constantly contacting solicitors, buyers, and other parties in the chain just to keep things moving towards exchange. For a service that you are paying for, this simply shouldn’t be necessary. We were repeatedly told that “this is the final thing needed” and that exchange was imminent, only for another issue or delay to suddenly appear. The process was plagued by delay after delay, causing unnecessary stress and frustration for everyone involved. Selling a house is stressful enough without having to constantly chase your estate agent for answers and progress updates. Unfortunately, this experience fell well below expectations. Avoid at all costs!
