17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
19th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Toomey Estate Agent was extremely good to work with selling our house. Simon our agent was always available and would advise honestly and pragmatically. Toomey was very down the line with their dealings and were always realistic in their approach. We had more confidence in engaging Toomey compared to other agents on assessing our house.

Ollie valued our home and gave great insight into the current market and made us feel confident Rowland Gorringe was the right estate agents for us. Harry worked really hard to get good viewings, have really useful feedback and was responsive when we had questions. We couldn't have been happier with the service they provided as well as the wider team, including Megan and Rupert. Ross was absolutely amazing and really gave us so much faith and hope about listing with another estate agent and how the process would be smooth. Erin and Lily-Mae were great with viewings and with contact throughout.<br>They were so friendly, patient and reassuring..<br>and Stuart was great with the offer process. Thank you so much for helping us to move, we really appreciate all the help you gave along the way.
20th Jul 2026 (15 weeks ago)Like many others, all they want is your signature on the agreement, they put it on rightmove etc and that's it. No one does any work anymore. Not even a call from them after going "live". Not recommended.

The sale was not an easy one, numerous challenges and hair pulling moments but Hannah & Oliver were tremendous, didn't miss a beat and at every twist & turn were there, proactive, helpful and communicated very openly and honestly. We would highly recommend Savills to everyone - we just hope our next purchase is with Savills.
7th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)we were looking for a surveyor for the home we wanted to buy and contacted alot came across charles wycherley estatre agents who also do surveyers reports.well what can i say excellent service and a lovely man who was very knowledgable of the area.a kind man who took the time to go through our report if you need a surveyor or buy or sell your home charles is the person to go through .when i sell my home at some point i will go to charles 5 stars

3rd Oct 2026 (5 weeks ago)I bought a lovely bungalow in Peacehaven using Ewemove Hove as the selling agents. Neil and his team were exceptional - being helpful, kind, understanding and always going the extra mile to be helpful and professional. They tried their best to make what can be a stressful process as easy as they could. On completion day, when I went to collect the keys, a bottle of champagne came with them. What a lovely gesture. My experience of using Ewemove Hove was wonderful and I am grateful to them for their human touch while still being professional. Cheers, Paul.

They always give 100% when transforming and styling spaces and take time to adjust minute details to allow properties to look their best. On top of that they have great personalities and look after those working with them and their customers. I just received a lovely card thanking me for working with them this year, an unexpected touch of kindness.

Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.
20th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)Adrian acted for us in the sale of our late Aunt's house and found a buyer within a few weeks. When this sale unfortunately fell through Adrian found another buyer very quickly and the sale has just completed. Adrian kept in touch throughout the whole process, and was available 7 days a week. He was friendly and helpful throughout and we would absolutely recommend AP Estate Agents. Thanks Adrian.

Steven gave excellent guidance prior to us putting the house on the market, and the marketing material he produced was exceptional. He quickly found a buyer and worked hard to push through the sale once the chain was complete. He was approachable and accessible throughout and it was a great pleasure to work with him.
16th Jun 2026 (20 weeks ago)Five stars across the board for the team at Charles Century in Hailsham! They recently handled the sale of my property and the entire experience was outstanding. A special mention must go to Chris, whose communication skills are second to none. He kept me constantly updated and masterfully coordinated with both the solicitors and the other estate agents involved in the chain, making a stressful process feel incredibly smooth. Every single member of staff at the Hailsham office was professional, friendly, and helpful throughout. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
