17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

They have done a truly professional job, and the flat has been tenanted for almost 100% of the time. Our contacts at Obbard have been consistently professional, friendly, and easy to reach. We would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for assistance in the property market.

Rachelle, Stuart and the team were excellent throughout the process, always keeping us fully informed on viewings, feedback at every stage from instruction through to exchange and completion. We would not hesitate to recommend Hamptons.

He even reasured my parents when they both phoned him for questions to be answered!!.... Tony for me went above and beyond to help and support me!!.... and a beautiful touch was a starter welcome box... which was very much appreciated.... So Tony a massive THANK YOU... as i said I definitely Recommend King and chasemore ??????????????????.

31st Oct 2020 (5 years ago)In two words, VERY DISAPPOINTING. All talk and false promises, and little or no positive action to do what they are paid to do, which is to actually sell your Property. After 21 weeks they 'managed' to generate Three viewings, One 'no show' and Two vague expressions of interest. Their Customer Service is absymal. Phone Calls and emails expressing concern not answered or responded to. Do not bother to waste your time with this Estate Agent. There are other's who are more pro-active, undertake much better Marketing, and frankly do a far better job.

Mark kept me updated at every single moment of each transaction via phone call and/or email ensuring the whole process went through stress free. 20th Feb 2026 (10 weeks ago)The property was on the market for a year, during a slow market. Their original price was high but probably more accurate of a property in their core area of Liphook. But over the time I saw their knowledge often area grow with a dedicated contact. As a shift working they worked with me on email and that suited me fine.

25th Apr 2026 (9 days ago)Really impressed with how they’ve dealt with my property selling.. Always answer the phone and any questions which is a rare thing I found last time with other companies. Knowledgeable and just seem like great people there so I’ve been really happy I chose them and would certainly use them again! Kevin, Jo and Caroline do go above and beyond I’d say but as I said before the most important thing when you’re doing something that can be as stressful as this process is having someone who responds and is always there to answer any questions which they always are! Fantastic place!!
