10th Nov 2025 (7 mo. ago)Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!! I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket. The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable. Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online. I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!

They are prompt at responding to any messages of any concerns and they act as accordingly to resolve issues. I would recommend Regency Estates again and again. Nothing is too much trouble; their local knowledge is invaluable and they made the handover very straightforward, taking care of all the legalities and paperwork. Would highly recommend.

There local knowledge and reputation for selling similar properties as well as being competitively priced with their fee is what swung us towards using sell well. From the property being on the market, we sold our house within 3 weeks which was fantastic.
27th Feb 2026 (15 weeks ago)Bolton Properties provided a great service at a competitive price, the speed of obtaining a valuation to getting the property to market was excellent, as was the quality of the brochure. The communication throughout was also good. I wouldn't have any hesitation in using them again in the future or recommending to friends.

I have just sold my house through them, and what felt like a never ending process (due to unforeseen circumstances), they kept me updated throughout so I was never left guessing or wondering what the next step was. Their communication is truly second to none. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking to buy or sell.

1st Jun 2026 (11 days ago)??????Formerly Greenwood James and now under the Harrisons banner, the name may not be the same but the service certainly is.., and this is the reason we have been putting the new acquisitions for the portfolio with them for a few years now...?????????????????? Absolutely no regrets as the team are proactive, fair, and friendly too?? We are at ease when it comes to the portfolio they manage being managed properly... So a BiG Thank-You to Zoe Jackson (There are Two Zoe's) as she is our direct line and property manager, however the full team really are friendly and knowledgeable, so great to deal with..??????
12th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)I am writing this behalf of my uncle because he doesn’t speak English last year he rented a flat from these people they all so speak Turkish so my uncle paid them admission fees which by law they don’t have the right to ask him for admission fees but they did why because my uncle doesn’t speak English and he’s only been in uk for one and half years and then they asked him for weeks rent 2 months deposit again buy law they can only ask 4 week’s and when he left the flat they only give his one moths rent back said to him we only had one month deposit of yours horrible people

22nd May 2026 (21 days ago)Simply no other company to sell your house with if you are in the M29 area especially. My mortgage advisor recommended an estate agent who valued the property higher and was probably the safer bet in keeping things all in one place, but Suzie's knowledge of the area and personable approach came across straight away which was extremely reassuring and I knew right away it was the right agent to choose. Which subsequently went on to pay dividend almost immediately as the house was photographed, published and sold - well over asking price within 7 working days. Can't recommend enough if you are thinking of selling give Smoothmove a call.

Chelsea, at Miller metcalfe tyldesley dealt with the sale, I found Chelsea to be professional but also very friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful if I got stuck with anything. She kept me informed with messages and phone calls as to the progress, and went above and beyond chasing things up. Overall, extremely happy with the service provided.

We were given lots of advice and support when we were ready to advertise our property and the photos gave the best representation of our home. We went live on boxing day and after one day of viewing we had an over the asking price offer. Everything has run seamlessly and without issue. Tom was available to speak to whenever we needed clarification or advice.
