From the very beginning, when I decided to sell my house in November, Lydia and her colleagues were friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. They clearly understood the local market and gave excellent advice from day one. Despite the market being slower at the time, they successfully found the right buyers within two months, and from going on the market to completion, the full process took five months, which I was very pleased with. Throughout the process, the team kept me regularly updated on my property’s performance, including Rightmove interest, market conditions, and realistic advice around pricing strategy. Their guidance helped me sell my home as quickly as possible while also achieving the best price I could. They also recommended Shoosmiths for conveyancing, which turned out to be an excellent recommendation and helped make the whole process run smoothly. What really stood out was the professionalism and communication of the entire team. They were consistently proactive, informative, and genuinely invested in achieving the best outcome for me. I’ve been so impressed that I’ve already recommended them to friends and am now using them for a second property sale as well. From the beginning he has been attentive, informative and supportive in a multitude of ways. He explains everything A-Z which makes first time buyers, like myself and my partner, feel more in control and understand the process. Branislav communicates well, chases third parties for you and stands in your corner. He even called us late at night when I was asking far too many questions just to put us at ease and get a move on with things. He ensures that you get good value for money on the properties you view and in general is open and honest in all areas of property purchasing. We look forward to the rest of the journey and would thoroughly recommend Bran to anyone starting the process of getting a mortgage, or any other need - he’s more than competent, trustworthy and honest.

She was very knowledgeable about the area and without having to be asked she was able to provide information about local amenities and schools etc. she also brought information of other properties we might be interested in based on our previous search and was very friendly and professional. After meeting with several estate agents recently, Shanice stands out as the best!

We purchased through Taylor Brightwell and feel incredibly fortunate that we were given the opportunity to buy it after initially missing out. We didn’t sell our property through Taylor Brightwell however the communication we were provided with throughout the whole process from them was excellent especially from Fiona who contacted us on a weekly basis to update us on the progress. We found her knowledgeable and informative and very pleasant to deal with and were very fortunate to have her keeping us informed. Additionally a mention to Clare who we have previously viewed a number of properties with before our final one as she has always been easy going and informative and never made us feel rushed. Overall they made what is a very stressful process a whole lot better.

They gave us good advice, they were open and honest, and they were always swift to respond. They brought some urgency when it was needed but never any pressure, and we always felt they genuinely cared. Their valuation was realistic and they really know the North Bedfordshire market. If you’re considering selling, give them a call/

20th May 2026 (18 days ago)EDIT: Thank you for your response. However, attempting to attribute the issue to “timescales” or solicitors avoids the central concern raised in my review. For the full context: from the first viewing I made it clear to the agent, vendors and solicitors that my intention was to complete before the end of the year, and this was the only reason I accepted the asking price without negotiation despite the lease nearing 80 years. The property was marketed as “no chain”, and this timeframe was known and discussed for months in advance, on multiple occasions including second viewing in the end of November. No circumstances justify intimidating communication by your manager or suggesting that a client’s actions may negatively affect how they are viewed in “future transactions” — wording for which your agency already issued a formal apology. As I believe this conduct fell below expected professional standards, the matter has now been formally escalated to The Property Ombudsman (TPO). I hope this leads to improved communication standards and training. Unfortunately, my experience with this agency during a property purchase was highly disappointing. It started off well at the viewing - Aarden was highly professional, with good knowledge about the property. Unfortunately later on during the process the communication from the sales manager Josh — particularly during negotiations — crossed the line from professional guidance into unnecessary pressure and intimidation. At one stage, I was told that my actions could affect how the agency and vendors viewed me in “future transactions,” which I found completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Following a formal complaint, the agency acknowledged that the wording used could reasonably be interpreted as intimidating and issued an apology. I appreciate that the director responded professionally once the complaint was raised, but buyers should not have to escalate matters formally in order to be treated fairly and respectfully. I would strongly encourage future buyers to keep all communication in writing and approach negotiations cautiously.
