26th Oct 2026 (6 days ago)Very Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Lack of Reliability<br><br>I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Sarah Mains. We started the rental process for a property, submitted all the required documents, and successfully passed the referencing and credit checks conducted through Rightmove.<br><br>However, just two days before our planned moving date, an agent named Laura informed us that the landlord had decided not to proceed with the tenancy. By that point, we had already made significant arrangements for the move, paid advance costs, and even secured school admissions for our children near the property.<br><br>This sudden decision caused our family considerable stress, inconvenience, and financial loss. We had organised everything in good faith, trusting that the process was progressing as expected.<br><br>To make matters worse, we were informed that the holding deposit could not be refunded, leaving us in an extremely difficult situation despite having done everything required of us.<br><br>A family relocation is not a small matter, especially when children and school admissions are involved. I believe a letting agency should communicate responsibly, handle the process professionally, and treat prospective tenants fairly.<br><br>I would not recommend Sarah Mains to anyone based on my experience. The lack of reliability and the way this situation was handled have completely undermined my trust in the agency.<br><br>I sincerely hope they improve their service and treat future tenants with greater consideration and transparency.

30th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)RMS Ryton were really helpful and friendly throughout the process of my house purchase. All the staff are brilliant and helped make the sale easy. I had regular updates and could easily get in touch when needed. Would recommend to anyone
28th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)They listed my4 bed detached dormer bungalow as a 4 bed detached HOME!!! SO I didn’t get any viewings for 10 week as google does not recognise home on any search engine it Could be found under properties but buyers only looking for bungalows could not find us!! I found out by distant friend trying to find bungalows online. They relaunched but missed summer buyers. Tied into 20week contract and cost me £354 to cancel -nightmare scenario for me.

From start to finish, she has been absolutely exceptional throughout our house buying journey.<br><br>The process was far from straightforward, with a particularly challenging seller, but Danielle went above and beyond every step of the way. She was relentless in chasing for updates, resolving issues, and keeping everything moving when it felt like progress had stalled.<br><br>What really stood out was her kindness, care, and genuine support throughout the process. She was always reassuring when things became stressful, quick to respond to any questions we had, and made sure we were kept informed at every stage. Despite the many challenges, Danielle did everything she could to make the experience as smooth as possible.<br><br>We are incredibly grateful for all of her hard work, dedication, and patience. From the initial contact to the valuation, marketing, viewing of property and communication they have been excellent. From our experience we would never use any other estate agent (in the extremely unlikely event of us ever selling our current home).

31st Oct 2026 (1 day ago)Lune Valley Estates are an outstanding Estate Agent.<br>Ok, I would say that as they sold my house for me but they did it in such a professional way. They brought the right buyers through the door, at least 7 of them in 2 weeks, they spent a lot of time in the house with them ( I would always advocate that they do the selling and not the owner ), they could answer most of the buyers questions and at all times were open and honest in their communication, realistic and positive.<br>Ask them what you need to do for them to sell your house and you will get an honest and straight answer. Then do it, as we did. Ours went through in 12 weeks.<br>Rob, the director is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and a bloody nice bloke too.<br>I really wish he had handled our purchase as well but you can't win them all.<br>Cheers Rob and team.
