22nd May 2026 (2 days ago)Liz and Nicola from F&C Rugby provided a first class service throughout the process of selling my late father's house. They were very supportive and always happy to attend the premises, not just for viewings but when I needed to give other trades access (as I live 300 miles away) and in my opinion went above and beyond at every step. F&C were not the cheapest quote we had, but were worth every penny: their marketing was superb and quickly generated a lot of interest in the house (far more than we expected) which led to a good offer. They continued to be in close communication throughout the legal process, gave good advice, and diplomatically negotiated a couple of bumps in the process to ensure everything continued on track. Nothing was too much trouble - even helping to lift a stain out of the carpet which was discovered when the last of the furniture was moved out! I can't thank them enough for helping make an emotionally and logistically difficult process as smooth as possible.

They always kept me updated at every stage and made sure everything stayed on track. It really felt like they genuinely cared about getting the best outcome for me. I’m really grateful for all their hard work and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell their property. Thanks again!

11th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)I'm not one for reviews but I have to share my experience. After renting my property out through Northwoods (a lot of years), it was time to buy a new property. They had been fantastic at managing the property over the years, with constant communication and regular updates. the property was never left empty for long, just long enough to allow maintenance to be done (By their approved contractors) before new tenants moved in. So based on their professionalism I choose them to handle the purchase. It just seemed effortless, again communication was spot on, I never once had to call to push along, Sara and Sam seemed to be one step ahead and kept me well informed explaining any issues that might arise, when there was a problem they sorted it all out with a common sense approach. When the other party seemed to be dragging their heels (solicitors) on completion, there they were again helping the transaction through to the end. I can not recommend these guys enough, for making everything hassle free, with no stress at all.

5th May 2026 (19 days ago)every time i’ve had dealings with chelton brown, the people have been absolutely lovely but the timing that this company (or perhaps just this office) works on is ridiculous. myself and my partner have attempted to get in contact to try and rent a property with them twice now, and have reached out to them within hours of the property being listed. both times i have had no response from them for days and after reaching out to them to follow up i’ve been told it’s either already let or they are not accepting anymore bookings to view the property. of course, i could understand this if i initially contacted them after a property had been on the market a while but for me to reach out within HOURS of the listing, receive nothing back from them and then be told “we’re sorry we’re not accepting anybody else at the moment” i find it quite frankly ridiculous. again the staff have all been perfectly pleasant when i have spoken to them but its incredibly disheartening to be on it as soon as a listing appears only to not have the opportunity to decide if we even want it or not, simply due to the office neglecting to respond. i understand they’re busy but it’s so frustrating to be rejected unreasonably.

Throughout every stage, they were thorough, on the mark, and gave me complete peace of mind with no worries whatsoever. Natasha and Ian are a brilliant team — always willing to help, always one step ahead, and nothing is ever too much trouble. The quality of service is second to none and I would not hesitate for a single moment to appoint them as my agents again. If you're looking for agents you can truly rely on, look no further. He took the time to explain everything clearly and guided us through each step, which gave us real confidence and peace of mind. In no time at all, our property was rented through Northwood. The guaranteed rent scheme has been absolutely perfect for us — no hassle, no stress, and complete peace of mind knowing that Northwood deals with everything directly with the tenants. Their communication was fantastic, the whole process was smooth and easy, they went above and beyond to assist us with any queries, they were friendly, honest and quite frankly, excellent all round. We’d had a couple of false starts moving over the last 12 months but when an opportunity for a quick purchase and sale arose they supported us with speed and sound advice. It was easy to contact them with a personal service throughout the conveyancing process that helped to make the process smoother than it would otherwise have been. I’d highly recommend Fitzjohn to family and friends.
