1st Oct 2026 (4 weeks ago)This was our first viewing with Fine and Country and to say they were a breath of fresh air is an understatement. Unlike other agents we've viewed with, we were able to visit the property without being rushed and with no pushy sales tactics. This left us feeling welcomed and valued as a potential customer. Every member of staff we've dealt with has been polite, courteous and gone out of their way to be helpful and answer any questions we have. The whole process even started on a positive note as the photos taken to advertise the property were actually representative of what was there. Most other agents seem to use odd lenses and angles to give an unrealistic view of a property leading to instant disappointment when you arrive. That's not the case here. This is what other agents should aspire to be, welcoming, informed and helpful. We really cannot recommend them highly enough. We've dealt with both Alison and Sally and would would like to thank them both for all they've done. Superb.

18th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)This is easily the worst estate agent experiences I've ever had.<br><br>This is purely from the experience of trying to buy a property through them, and if this is how they treat potential buyers, I would hate to think what their sellers would make of it.<br><br>Properties are taken off the market and then put back on again, with little or no explanation. You email asking for clarification and get no reply. I even went as far as making a formal complaint to head office, only to be completely ignored.<br><br>To make matters worse, I've seen an auction property listed as “under offer” three days before the auction was even due to start. How does that happen? I appreciate that pre-auction offers can be made, but surely potential buyers deserve clear and accurate information about a property's status.<br><br>The lack of communication, the failure to respond to enquiries, and the complete lack of acknowledgement of a formal complaint have been extremely disappointing.<br><br>If I were selling a property, I'd seriously question whether this is the level of service I'd want from the estate agent representing me. Potential buyers should be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism, and in my experience, that has been sorely lacking here.<br><br>Based on my personal experience, I would struggle to recommend them.

Ben Rivett was an invaluable source of advice, both at the planning and valuation stages. The quality of his recommendations helped us readily achieve a very good sale. Natalie Howlett- Clarke handled the negotiation and completion stages with great professionalism. Her communication and responsiveness were first rate. Moreover, I really enjoyed working with Ben and Natalie for their friendliness, honesty and good humour, as well as for their high level of professional capability.

30th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Our experience of buying our new home through Abbotts was extremely disappointing.<br><br>Communication throughout the process was very poor. It was often impossible to get through by telephone, leaving us listening to music for long periods, and when we did have the option to leave a message, our calls were not returned. Emails were also regularly left unanswered, which made the whole process far more stressful than it needed to be.<br><br>On our second viewing, we were expecting to meet someone at the property, but nobody turned up. We were left waiting and had no communication or explanation as to why nobody was there.<br><br>We even had to contact the Norwich branch ourselves and ask them to get in touch with the relevant office to arrange this.<br><br>Buying a home should be an exciting and memorable experience, but unfortunately our experience with Abbotts was made unnecessarily stressful by the lack of communication and organisation.<br><br>We are very happy with our new home, but sadly we cannot say the same about our experience with Abbotts. I was updated at all times & nothing was too much trouble for them. I was very grateful for their caring support & guidance during a difficult time in my life.
3rd Aug 2026 (13 weeks ago)Still very early in the buying process and I needed someone to help and guide me through stage 1. Special mention here for Abi at Hoveton who was professional, helpful , a good communicator and especially patient.
20th Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)I enquired about a rental property and I was told that I wasn’t going to be a suitable tenant based on my age and because I have children. I note that both of these factors are directly or indirectly to protected characteristics and this represents discrimination in breach of Pointens’ obligations under the Equality Act 2010. Further I note that this conduct in relation of tenant screening is due to become directly unlawful under the new laws coming into force on 1st May 2026, so for tenancies starting on or after 1st May which the one I enquired about likely would, this is questionably unlawful now.

When we were under offer Lucy was amazing , she was helpful , efficient , incredibly patient and went the extra mile on almost a daily basis . She most definitely helped keep me sane through those last few months.<br>I would not hesitate to recommend them.

20th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)We couldn’t recommend Stobart & Hurrell highly enough after they handled the sale of our home.<br><br>Having lived there for over 11 years, selling the house and moving on was a huge step for us as a family, and from the very beginning the team were fantastic. They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and, most importantly, always there when we needed them.<br><br>The whole process was handled brilliantly. Communication was excellent throughout, we were kept informed at every stage, and whenever the inevitable stresses of moving house cropped up, we always felt we had someone on our side helping to keep things moving.<br><br>What really stood out was the personal service. From our first contact & meeting with Fin, who is a credit to the team, never have I met such an enthusiastic and personable representative of an estate agency.<br><br>I also want to thank Oli & Zak, always there, whenever needed.<br><br>We never felt like just another house on the market, they genuinely cared about the sale and about getting us to the finish line.<br><br>After 11 very happy years in our home, it was quite emotional handing over the keys and closing that chapter, but we couldn’t have asked for a better team to help us do it.<br><br>A huge thank you to everyone at Stobart & Hurrell. And certainly on one occasion we thought that’s it’s not going to happen but joannaof sowerbys after sale section kept things holding on with some extraordinary lateral thinking during a chase for missing contract.

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.

Everything went smoothly, and they were always happy to help whenever I had any questions. Thanks to the whole team for making the renting process so easy and stress-free.
