2nd Jun 2026 (9 weeks ago)We met Tommy Chalker a few months ago. He was very helpful in allowing us to see a property 3 times when we were not in a position to make an offer. By the time we did have an offer on our own house we had found another property which we liked equally. We knew Tommy had worked hard in getting the GJ property reduced to a price we could afford so it was disappointing that we opted for the other property. He was always, polite, efficient and accommodating. Excellent service! Many thanks Tommy and Garton Jones.
28th Mar 2026 (18 weeks ago)I’ve had a nightmare experience with john co since the very beginning. First, they were incredibly inefficient with the move-in process, delaying my tenancy start date by three weeks and leaving the property vacant for that entire time. What makes this even more ridiculous is that they failed to carry out mandatory safety inspections (EICR, Gas Safety, EPC) during those three weeks of vacancy. Instead, they have contacted me three times in just my first three weeks of living here, demanding access for various contractors. It feels as though they are using me as an unpaid property manager to coordinate their overdue maintenance. If you value your time, privacy, and mental peace, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Their management is a complete mess.

No one got back to me to confirm whether the viewing was going ahead. I went for a viewing for one of their properties and the agent who attend did not even have any information on the property, or even which room was being offered. They took me through the process of acquiring the room then silence for days.<br><br>I called them and they said that they had given it to someone else. This was a 1 day after I had followed up on the room and moving in<br><br>A though was not given to contact me and inform me about the proceedings<br><br>A Very unprofessional company and letting agency. The worst I have ever experienced.I come from a family who work in letting agencies or own one abroad so this experience was far from good.<br><br>Even at the end of the Call they didn’t even offer to see if they could help furthers or suggest alternatives. Terrible experience indeed.

29th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)Pretty seamless purchase process with them. Viewings were quickly arranged, every question asked was answered, the entire process took much less than I anticipated. This agency is legit and Andrew, who I mostly dealt with, was a professional throughout.
17th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)We were very happy with the services provided by McMahon & Partners. As we moved from Germany to London for the first time, the process of searching for a home and completing all the necessary paperwork initially felt quite daunting. However, McMahon made the entire experience smooth and straightforward. Our agent, Serwan, conducted a detailed viewing via video call, shared all relevant information upfront, and guided us seamlessly through the contract process. We were particularly impressed with: 1) The thoroughness and professionalism of the paperwork and inventory check conducted by McMahon, which ensured fairness for both the landlord and the tenant. 2) The prompt resolution of minor issues in the property by Louise, the residential manager, who was highly responsive and efficient. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with both the property and the service provided by McMahon & Partners, and we would highly recommend them.

Always available, always charming, always diligent in following up the slightest lead. He has already achieved a sale with one and I am sure will soon do so with the second.Very happy to have been introduced to him.

Really lovely genuine people.<br><br>Gabriel has been the outstanding person to onboard with in our new rented flat. I’m thoroughly impressed with his communication, touching base regularly and work through any initial questions. Such a great human. The level of support as a tenant has been the best I’ve experienced in all my 15 years renting in London.<br><br>Finding a place to live can be one of the most stressful things to do. Not with this team! Thank you.

8th Dec 2023 (2 years ago)My experience of Guru’s sales team is good. However, the property management team is very rude and would not help the tenants solve the problems after you rent the property. They only asked the tenants for money.

Cancelled appointments and numerous excuses throughout, it’s ironic that they sell themselves as a more bespoke and individual service when actually I felt the complete opposite. Josh was our agent and I wouldn’t recommend.

He has been friendly, professional and incredibly responsive throughout both the move-in process and our tenancy. Any maintenance issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently, and he consistently went out of his way to help whenever needed. His open, transparent and proactive approach made everything straightforward and seamless, which made a real difference. We’d happily recommend him to anyone looking to rent a property.
4th Mar 2026 (22 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience. I had an appointment booked to view a shop and had to take time off work to attend. I drove 45 minutes to the location, but when I arrived there was no one there to meet me or open the property, I contacted the office, only to be told that they had forgotten about the appointment and asked me to rearrange for another day. This was a complete waste of my time and very unprofessional. I hope they improve their communication and organisation so this doesn’t happen to others.

17th Jul 2026 (17 days ago)The experience of finding the flat and securing the contract was great! Shemya was super responsive and answered all my questions. She helped fast?track things so I could move in before a big trip, which was very much appreciated. Because of the rush, though, when I moved in the flat still had unwanted furniture and was dirty (which wasn’t the agency’s fault, but due to a non?compliant previous tenant). That said, they were very responsive and quickly arranged for someone to remove the furniture, allowing me to move in just a couple of hours later. Would give five stars, but I’ve currently been waiting over three weeks for a faulty dripping tap to be fixed with no response so far, so still waiting to see how the management side actually is. Will update this review accordingly in the coming weeks/months.<br><br>EDIT: The lack of response was because my emails were going to junk mailbox! Going up to 5 stars as Roberta has been amazing, super responsive to all my issues and concerns and everything that needs repair has been sorted. Thank you!
23rd Mar 2026 (19 weeks ago)After years of being routinely disappointed by incredibly poor service of two large and well known managing agents, I contacted Eldridge Estates and they have been nothing short of brilliant. I cannot overstate how helpful Azadul was and has continued to be since he came to view my property. He arranged repair work, found great tenants quickly, and went out of his way to make things easier for me frequently. I wish I’d contacted E.E. years ago. It would have saved me countless headaches and a lot of money too. I high recommend them.
