I would not hesitste to use them for a sale (buying or selling). The whole team were great and really were there for us throughout the whole process.
14th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.

He was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process — competent, responsive, proactive, kind, and professional.<br><br>The sale turned out to be much more complicated than expected, with legal difficulties meaning that the process took over two years to complete. Throughout that entire time, Phil stayed in touch, kept me updated and did everything he could to keep things moving along. Even though I was dealing with everything internationally, his communication was excellent and I always felt that things were being looked after. He made what could have been an extremely stressful experience feel remarkably stress-free. I genuinely don’t know what I would have done without him.<br><br>Phil also went far beyond what I would normally expect from an estate agent. He was incredibly helpful with all sorts of practical things that I would normally have dealt with myself if I had been in London — from replacing batteries in smoke detectors to meeting contractors and helping coordinate things on my behalf.<br><br>He was an absolute delight to deal with: warm, friendly, dependable, and always willing to go the extra mile. I’m incredibly grateful for all his help and would wholeheartedly recommend Phil to anyone looking for an estate agent.
13th Sep 2026 (4 days ago)Based on our experience ,we would highly recommend Petty Son and Prestwich.<br>Catherine who came round to value our house was friendly and professional .Her calm approach helped us initiate the process of selling.<br>Fay who supervised the viewing day took on board all the important details of the house that needed to be passed to potential buyers and ensured the day resulted in many offers.<br>Elaine and Janine ensured that the sale progressed keeping us updated and responding quickly to our questions.<br>Overall we found that the whole process went very smoothly and was relatively stress free.<br>Thank you to the whole team who helped us from start to finish,such that we sold our house a few days after it went on the market.

30th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)We were introduced to Clara Bracey at Tavistock Bow by our estate agent in Devon who successfully sold our home last year.<br>As soon as we met Clara we knew she was right for us.<br><br>Clara is charming, fun and authentic and loves her job. We agreed from the start that the road to a successful sale would not be easy because of the London market but she took all the stress away from us from the beginning. She knew straight away which interested parties were worth pursuing and after a few months contracts were signed.<br><br>I highly recommend Clara and Tavistock Bow estate agents. Clara is a first class communicator and has a flare for getting it right. I discovered that the bed frame was damaged when I arrived, and she responded very quickly, contacted the maintenance team straight away, and arranged for someone to come and fix it promptly. Thanks to her support, the issue was resolved without causing any disruption to my move-in. I really appreciate her professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to help. Highly recommended.

He provided us with excellent property options, all of which were of a very high standard.<br><br>What really stood out was his dedication and willingness to go the extra mile.
