Lewis was always quick to respond to emails and kept me updated at every point of the process. Lewis went beyond in many ways - offering helpful recommendations and I felt fully supported throughout the whole process as a first-time buyer. I would definitely recommend John D Wood & Co.

17th May 2024 (1 year ago)I purchased my first flat through KFH. They were very efficient and responsive during this process, and guided me well. However, apart from these, my experience was not at all positive. It became evident very quickly that they were working solely for the benefit of the seller. Little to none was done to take into account what would work for me, both mortgage-wise, and in terms of discussing exchange/completion dates - it was always a matter of doing what the seller wanted. There were also a few events of miscommunication/incorrect information which resulted into me losing some money. I do acknowledge that they were dealing with a particularly demanding seller, but in my opinion, what makes a good agent (or rather a good employee in general), is their ability to deal with difficult, non-trivial situations. I would not recommend KFH as a buyer.

They have handled all the admin and paperwork smoothly and efficiently, they have been quick to arrange viewings and have been a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend them highly enough - thank you to all the team.

20th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)This is a horrible letting agency. They took all of our deposit, the entire two month deposit. £2500 gone. They WILL exploit you. They will take your money. I even paid close to £300 on the professional cleaning service that this good for nothing agency suggested. We paid all of our rents on time, all bills on time. Kept the property like we were living in our own home. If you are unfortunate enough to have to take a house with them i suggest you do not engage with agent called LUKE PEGG. if you are hearing from this man they will be taking your money. I hope this agency goes out of business. No one reads comments but if you are reading this AVOID SAMUEL ESTATE AND LUKE PEGG. Scam, exploitative, unprofessional.
7th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)Worst experience ever. Please avoid Dexter if you can. 2 days at 15 degrees. 6 weeks back and forward with maitenance team. Gas leak in between. Boiler still not working. Bad management and worst professionalism and rude communication. Manager office said in writting: “if you don’t like you are welcomed to leave the property” in reference to not have warm water or heater. They only provided electric heater the first time at 15 degrees because we requested. Second time, second day at 15 degrees and still non-responsive.

Matthew made the whole process incredibly smooth and stress-free, guiding me step by step and offering support from start to finish. The communication was excellent throughout, which made everything so much easier. Lina and Helen were also lovely to deal with—always more than happy to answer any questions I had along the way. Overall, everyone I interacted with was kind and extremely helpful. I couldn’t recommend them more to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable estate agent in South West London

I've tried reaching out to you but you never answer left messages for Eric and Ezgi - UNPROFESSIONAL I understand you and some members where off sick but everytime I drove past your office I could see everyone in the office present and working just not answering my call or messages which makes it more unprofessional . I did CALL and try reach out to you and still no response i left whats app messages on two seperate occasions and two different people still no response so from my point of view I was certainly patient and went above and beyond to try get a response from you which never came until I left a review then the response came instantly My main purpose was to sell the property and whilst working with you I felt the only thing you wanted to do was rent my property out for short let's at rock bottom prices which I certainly said no too especially at the low ball figures you offered me( very low figures borderline disturbing) I'm glad I got my property sold with another agent I believe being honest and transparent is very important in this field which I believe in my opinion I didn't receive from you as an agent We all make mistakes if you owned the mistake and apolisged for ignoring me then we could have resolved this Instanly but to say people where sick when I could see them working in the office has certainly left me disappointed in my humble opinion

Our house sale and purchase with them went very smoothly and was even enjoyable. There is a very family-like atmosphere in the office, and it truly felt like we were dealing with good friends who were always on our side. Their support and communication throughout the process were excellent. We can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you for all your help, Richard, Paul, Sophie, and the entire Folklands team. You are the best!
17th Apr 2026 (6 days ago)Look at Trustpilot for honest reviews. Dodgy, unresponsive, unprofessional and actively incurring costs. Worst agent I’ve ever dealt with. Incurred lots of extra costs and various maintenance or repairs were never dealt with.

11th Apr 2026 (12 days ago)I’m not sure what to make of this, but it was the most bizarre experience I’ve ever had of being shown around a flat. I was apprehensive about using an unheard of estate agent as I’ve always stuck to well known ones. All seemed good at first when speaking to Leanna who made me feel at ease with her chirpy regional dialect, but then the viewing.. Well, Leanna showed up on time and we went inside. The tenants were out and the property was exactly as it looked on the website, so no complaints there, but then she started helping herself to biscuits, saying “I won’t tell if you don’t”. It didn’t stop there.. she opened the fridge and started putting items in a plastic carrier bag. Not even anything of value - it was literally butter and eggs. I would have given 2.5 stars if I could, but as it was either 2 or 3 I opted for 2. It wasn’t a mediocre experience, and credit where it’s due for the property being nice, it was just incredibly odd. Needless to say I didn’t put in an offer.

She has been professional, friendly, and always quick to respond to any questions we had throughout the process. Everything felt smooth and stress-free thanks to her support. She always went the extra mile to make sure everything was sorted for us. Whether it was chasing up details with the landlord, clarifying paperwork, or keeping us in the loop outside of normal working hours.
