We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.

30th May 2025 (11 mo. ago)Property in Hastings was an estate sale, rendered challenging by the fact that I live five hours’ drive away. However, Stuart and Emma were exceptionally helpful and nothing was a problem - exactly the kind of “can do” attitude that is becoming increasingly rare these days. Thanks are thus due to the pair for dealing with what has not been a straightforward sale.

31st Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)The experience with John Bray as a tenant was great, until it became time to move out. Despite the flat being provided in a shabby and uncleaned state, we didn't raise a dispute and cleaned it ourselves. Hardly anything was fixed during our three years there, despite us telling them repeatedly. Upon moving out we cleaned the flat fully and to a higher standard than we received it. After almost 2 weeks of hearing nothing about the deposit we were handed cleaning charges, which we disputed. That was when they sent condescending e-mails telling me I'm "lucky" they aren't charging me more and trying to bully me into accepting the charges "to get my remaining deposit back quicker". If you are renting with them, take detailed pictures of everything you receive, and be prepared to be talked to like you're a child when you ask for you deposit back.

He answered my questions without that dreaded sentence “I don’t know” which can be so irritating. So refreshing, a professional attitude with a happy and friendly approach.

We initially viewed a property with Ollie and were really impressed by his passion, professionalism, and in-depth knowledge of the property, something we hadn’t experienced with other agents. That gave us the confidence to put our own house on the market with them, and it was definitely the right decision. They handled the viewings brilliantly, provided regular updates, and kept us informed throughout the entire sale process. Their professionalism and support made everything run smoothly. 22nd Nov 2022 (3 years ago)As a purchaser, dealing with all members of the T&C team in Stamford throughout the viewing, negotiating and pre-contract phases was a thoroughly professional experience. When a Grade II listed property is involved, there are likely to be wrinkles. Still, Jan, in particular, was a highly responsive conduit between the seller and us, ensuring matters were attended to correctly and timely. The sale and contracts are now exchanged, with both parties happy - the exact definition of a good negotiation outcome.
22nd Mar 2020 (6 years ago)After using Fox and Sons who were totally useless and only got me one viewing in 10 weeks, I switched to Wyatt Hughes who are by far more professional and more efficient. They have managed to obtain 1-3 viewings a week consistenly since I signed up with them and always gave regular feedback - never got anything from Fox & Sons. They have also given me help with every query I've given them and pointed me in the direction of services and workmen that I've needed along the way..and now we have a sale thanks to their dedication. I can't really fault them and would highly recommend them to others.

The whole team’s communication was brilliant, which made the whole process smoother and stress-free. Whenever we had questions, they were always helpful and quick to respond. Bexhill Estates were very friendly and professional throughout. I would recommend them to anyone.

He assisted us in deciding on the features we were most concerned about. When things were moving slowly he offered new perspectives. After making an offer, Ashley managed the negotiations and kept us informed about progress, always returning calls and emails without delay.
