We were selling the flat and it was quite a complicated process because of cladding work and it took us many years, but James and his team were always very supportive and responsive. Overall very good experience.

4th Oct 2026 (26 days ago)LOOK ELSEWHERE!!<br><br>One star, and only because zero isn't an option.<br><br>I rented through the West Hampstead branch for a year.<br>For the entire tenancy I repeatedly asked for letterbox keys and never received them. The property manager assigned to my flat changed several times over the year, so there was never anyone accountable and emails routinely went unanswered for weeks.<br><br>Checkout was worse. They proposed nearly £1400 in deposit deductions, including charges for pre-existing issues plainly visible in their own check-in report (a missing radiator cap documented as missing before I even moved in), £300 to clear a few small leftover items, and a £360 cleaning charge despite the full photographic record of the clean I provided. Every figure was a round number with no invoice attached.<br><br>The law puts the burden of proof for deposit deductions on the agent. This felt like a systematic attempt to monetise the deposit instead. Prospective tenants should look elsewhere.

They have always found good quality tenants and are always there to answer any tricky questions. I love that we have been dealing with the same contacts for over a decade too. They really know their stuff. Most recently they found a buyer for the property and we received over the asking price. All beautifully managed by Jane.

She went above and beyond to do everything possible to help us secure the house we really wanted, and thanks to her hard work and dedication, we got the house we wanted which we are genuinely so happy and excited about!<br><br>What really stood out was how kind, approachable and supportive Kerry was throughout. Ayad was incredibly helpful throughout our apartment search, making the process of finding and securing our new home much easier. Anne was also wonderful, always responsive and attentive to our questions and needs, both during the rental process and after we moved in. We really appreciated their professionalism and support throughout the whole experience and would definitely recommend Messila!
24th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)Have been in this property for 5 years now and it’s the most painful process when something needs to be fixed. There’s been occasions we’ve been ghosted for literally an entire year with regards to property management related stuff. Sometimes they give you hope and suggest someone is coming or ask for more details, only for them to not turn up or ghost you again. You have to chase them via email, phone calls, WhatsApps every day to finally get any movement. I would not recommend renting with these guys unless you have time alongside your day job to be constantly chasing them and sending them reminders.
