Recently completed the purchase of my first flat, in Ravenscourt Park, via the Chestertons Chiswick office. Chestertons (Archie & Charlotte) were very easy to get hold of and managed the process from start to finish. This included an awkward renegotiation of price, which was handled openly and professionally. They also (for the most part) avoided 'hard selling' on the flats I viewed with them which was a huge plus for me as their advice then became more credible. Thank you, guys!
The worst experience I have had in moving house in London was with Chesterstones Chiswick. Chesterstones Chiswick wasted our time and energy to do a simple contract as well as organising a proper check in for us. They didn’t communicate everything properly with landlord and took no responsibility for the mistakes they made. Matthew accused us of being too dramatic!
Do not waste your money and most importantly your time.
Euan and the team were very professional and competent during the whole process and helped us buy the house of our dreams.
We had a difficult chain and tight deadline and the team followed us during every step, we couldn’t have asked for a better service.
Great communication from start to finish and attention to details, I would definitely recommend
I've dealt with Savills before but the Chiswick team were great from the initial call and prompt meeting to the final sale. The process was fast and painless which makes a change these days. Harry, in particular, gave great communications during the process and were always on top of what was going on, a rarity with many agents.
I had a great experience using Foxtons in Chiswick High Road and especially from the help I have received from Carlo Crismann whilst I was searching for a new apartment to rent. He was very professional, polite, knowledgeable and he would pay attention to what I was looking for. He would make recommendations and he would offer his expertise and advise but he would never add pressure on me or he would never try to lead me to fast decision. I would recommend this branch and Carlo
Terrible company. Only interested in profit. Eventually had to release us from tenency early due to extreme damp in property after involving the local council. Before we did they were completely unhelpful and only seemed to care before you sign a contract. Terrible customer service. My "account manager" Alan was totally incompetent and very rude. He had poor communication skills and let us down on countless occasions. Saying he would call then wouldn't bother. Do not use Foxtons.
After a few challenging and unpleasant experiences with other estate agents, dealing with Whitman & Co was on a completely different level. Andrew was honest, straightforward and supportive during the whole process, which proved to be quite frustrating.
Next time I need an estate agent, I know where I'll be going.
Thank you so much for the top quality service.
In the process of renting a house with Whitman & Co - it's been a nightmare dealing with the estate agent. Perfect house, and we're excited to move in, however Whitman & Co are unprofessional, very fraught in their communication in the sense that one person says one thing and another will say another thing, and overall very difficult to get a hold of. I call and ask for a callback, only to call back 45 mins later and be told that person has gone to lunch - very poor ethic. Only giving 2 stars as the house is great, other than that they are unable to do their job professionally.
Gable House, 18-24 Turnham Green Terrace, Chiswick, London
It has been an amazing process dealing with Paul and James at Horton & Garton W4. Communication has been excellent throughout, not a deadline missed. The guys were true to their word and I highly recommend them if you are looking to buy or sell in Chiswick.
Great work ethic and fantastic customer service! Highly recommended!
