29th Jul 2026 (6 days ago)Abysmal accompanied viewings service<br><br>For an agency that markets itself as "local and reputable", Richard Kendall's accompanied viewing service is shocking.<br><br>Viewings are outsourced to a tiny, poorly informed team with terrible availability (buyers are normally expected to book over a week in advance for a viewing and can't even get weekday evenings), meaning I had to conduct nearly all viewings myself. On the rare occasions they can attend, they know nothing about the property, which Richard Kendall seem to think is perfectly normal. Saying "we're really busy" is not an explanation - it's an admission they can't deliver the service being paid for by the seller. I might as well have been using an online agency. When someone wants to view, you don't want them being told to wait, you want them to be able to see your property ASAP to maximize sale chances.<br><br>For when you're doing an "open to view" at the weekend? Yeah, you have to do that all yourself too... take people's names/details, show them round, etc. Basically do their job for them. None of their agents will help you then, either. For a "full-service agency", I find this totally unacceptable.
26th May 2026 (10 weeks ago)On behalf of my son Richard…..I was new to buying a property and Hope at Stephensons was the Estate Agent for the sellers. My own online solicitor and the vendors solicitor were quite slow to the point my mortgage offer was only valid for 6 months (took 5 months 2 weeks to completion). To be honest without Hopes additional work over and above working tirelessly with both sets of solicitors I think I would have lost the house purchase. Hope was so helpful and patience with me when I was getting no updates from my own solicitor. Hope went above and beyond her own job description. Thankyou Hope, I am forever grateful to you for getting this over the finish line. Brilliant work.

They are genuinely warm, approachable, and professional people who worked incredibly hard to achieve a very strong sale price for the property.<br>What impressed me most was their commitment to keeping the transaction moving. They consistently chased all parties involved, including solicitors and buyers, and stayed on top of every detail right through to completion. Whenever progress slowed, they proactively followed up and did everything possible to keep matters on track.<br>I know I probably tested their patience at times with my many questions and requests, but they were always helpful, responsive, and supportive. Their dedication and professionalism made a challenging process much easier to navigate.<br>I would like to sincerely thank both Richard and Emma for all their hard work and support. I wish them every success in the future and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for dedicated and trustworthy estate agents.<br>Thanks a ton, team! ??????

17th Jun 2026 (7 weeks ago)Excellent experience using Crown to sell a house. From start to finish they were extremely professional and ensured great communication throughout the sale. Valuation was totally in line with our expectations, and the advice on setting a sale price was valuable. Visits started within a week of the valuation and we accepted an offer within two weeks of that. Crown handled coordination with the buyer and solicitors and ensured everything moved along smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

As first time buyers, we were unsure of the process involved and what we needed to do to begin looking for our first home. Shannon explained everything about the process and quickly obtained a mortgage agreement in principle for us so that we could begin searching for a house.<br><br>Once we had an offer accepted, Shannon's expertise was well evidenced as she continuously checked for what the best mortgage was (even on the day of the application!) so that we got the best mortgage offer for our situation. Thank you, Shannon. We can't recommend you enough! ??<br><br>Lily was incredibly helpful and informative throughout the purchase of our property. She is kind, understanding, and made sure we were kept updated as to our vendor's onward purchase. Thank you too, Lily!

19th Feb 2026 (24 weeks ago)I found the staff very professional, they have kept me informed all the time about viewings and feed back from potential buyers. It is a very difficult and sensitive time for me and the staff at Park Row have shown compassion and sensitivity towards me at all times. I would highly recommend them.

Always on hand with a listening ear and Max was just the best support as was Andy. I would recommend Hunters Castleford for a rental to anyone as they are great with the personal touches, I always felt listened to and when I needed them they were always there. 30th Jul 2026 (5 days ago)This is the second home I've sold with Red Roots, but the first time I've had Steve looking after my sale, and I honestly couldn't have asked for anyone better.<br>From day one, Steve was friendly, approachable, and always on the ball. He kept me updated throughout the whole process, was quick to answer any questions, and made everything feel so much less stressful. We got on so well that it genuinely felt like dealing with a friend rather than just an estate agent.<br><br>Nothing was ever too much trouble, and I always felt like I was in safe hands. His professionalism, communication, and support were second to none.<br><br>A huge thank you to Steve and everyone at Red Roots for all your hard work. 2nd Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)Trying to find the right estate agent is a minefield!! Fortunately I backed a winner with Shaun McArthur and his wonderful team and am more than delighted! From my first contact with Shaun himself, everything was perfect and when I visited the office I was welcomed like an old friend. Matt has been very helpful, keeping me informed at every stage of the proceedings and we have enjoyed talking about our shared love of motorbikes!<br>Although the legal side of my property sale has been protracted and made tortuous by the buyers' solicitors, an inept leasehold management company and "red tape", I cannot fault McArthur Estate Agency at all and will certainly recommend them to my family and friends.<br>Thank you for your help, great sense of humour and friendship over these difficult few months. 17th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.

Lauren could not have given more to help the sale go through, never was a message or email left unanswered, and always with a prompt response. She worked incredibly hard behind the scenes. We are going to miss Lauren not being around, but hopefully remain in contact. Thanks again Lauren.
17th Jun 2026 (7 weeks ago)Can’t thank Jody & Lucy enough for all that they did selling our property, from the first time meeting Jody he was so friendly and professional and I knew then that’s who I wanted to use to sell our property. The photos were very professional and really showcased our house, arranging viewings was easy and Jody conducted the viewings mainly which again was great, so THANK YOU<br><br>The chain wasnt straightforward and VERY stressful at times but Lucy was also there on the other end of the phone guiding me through and really helped me become a little less stressed.<br><br>Would highly recommend to friends and family
