Kept in the loop with viewings and outcomes. Very useful feedback from potential buyers. Found the Street.co.uk app good. Would definitely use McFarlane Sales & Lettings again. Tim Stanley was excellent.

14th May 2026 (18 weeks ago)Whatever the issue you face they don't respond. It was very bad experience. When we ask anything, they say it is managed by landlord and he will come and sort. I don't know why they are taking rent if they don't solve customer issues.
28th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)The whole of my 'Interview' came across as getting a low cost valuation and sales pitch just to get customers to view. It ended up me taking the property (despite having an interested buyer) completely off the market. It left me and my property feeling totally unworthy. Very unhappy with Haarts tactics.

I met Maisie at the house viewing and she is such a warm friendly person, who answered all my questions with ease. Maisie and Matthew supported me on my journey from enquiry to collecting the keys, and I could not recommend them more. Such a smooth process, thank you!

He was efficient, flexible with what worked for our home life/ work schedule and a very stress free selling process and sold our home within one day of viewings - highly recommend.

It was incredibly difficult with many stumbling blocks but Connells was always there to help.<br><br>Brandon in particular stood out, negotiating a better deal for our purchase when we were forced to take a lower offer to keep our chain intact, wrangling the various difficult parties and solicitors and always keeping me updated and in-the-know, and providing some much-needed reassurance amongst the chaos.<br><br>I'd also like to mention Holly, who, when our first sale fell through and threatened to dissolve our chain, immediately stepped in with a first-time buyer already in mind and ready to go ahead. We had a new buyer in place within a few days.<br><br>The whole team, from sign-on to admin to viewings, were nothing short of fantastic. Some people complain that estate agents aren't worth the money. I can categorically say that Connells Old Town was. We couldn't have moved without them, and I doubt another estate agent would have done anywhere near as much for us.

He handled the sale of my house with a really high level of professionalism, I’d previously used a more traditional estate agent as I hadn’t come across EweMove, the contrast was night and day and Paul made the selling experience enjoyable.<br><br>Paul was knowledgeable, approachable and kept everything moving when it could easily have become stressful. I really appreciated his patience, communication and the way he conducted himself throughout the process.<br><br>A genuinely excellent estate agent and a real credit to the team. Thank you, Paul!

18th Aug 2026 (27 days ago)I think it depends what partnership you have, I one I had the sales pitch was great but the communication throughout once I signed up with them was terrible, at one point t after I chased and chased for feedback after 1 week after a viewing they told me I had an offer, yes it was very low, but I was never told.

17th May 2026 (17 weeks ago)I used to be living in a nice apartment coachhouse, during the pandemic, I lost my job and could get the rent from the universal credit, so of course I was evicted. They problem was that I went through a mental health crisis at this time and suffering ever since. When I was away recovering in and out of hospital, I was told all my stuff was put into the garage below and I was being ILLEGALLY EVICTED, the stuff in the garage was their for a few months when me and my parents had to remove all my belongings into another garage I had rented next to and below the house. It remain their untill I could ship it up to their area, where it remained in storage for 4.5 years. I finally got through recovery and was able to deal with my belongings. Now bare in mind it was secure storage. I discovered around £600 pounds later including a broken tv on return to the flat with an eviction notice stuck to the door and the locks changed £100 worth of jewellery and £150 sporting clothes and a pair of designer glasses £150 missing ect with I realised after coming off medication that they had stolen from my property on that occasion of removing my goods during ILLEGAL EVICTION. I contacted the SCOUNDREL in charge of my property and got nothing but contempt. I will now give them 10 days to reply and start liaison with me or ill be filing a small claim to the courts, they now have 5 days left. If NICK JAMES CULLEY employees do this to paying customer or clients think what else they would do. Forget this as a good firm! If they evicted you during NATIONAL HEALTH CRISIS, when I begain a psychotic episode because of being made redundant, how far would they go really!!? JULIAN STOBBS WAS HIS NAME AND HE ADMITTS NO BLAME!

He is always helpful, responsive and quick to deal with any issues that arise. Most recently, he went above and beyond to help resolve a potentially difficult access issue and ensure that some essential work could go ahead as planned. It is very reassuring to know that the property is in such helpful and reliable hands. Highly recommended.

3rd Sep 2026 (11 days ago)Exceptional Estate Agent and Agency: I have just been to a property viewing, with intent to buy, with Imogen Seymour at Romans. Both I and my sister wanted to share our appreciation for the excellent guided tour, highly informed and genuinely lovely chat we had. We have rented with Romans before for nearly a decade and now house hunting to buy, Romans have been standout above other Estate Agencies. I don't tend to write reviews but wanted to recognise Imogen for all her help. She was so enthusiastic, compassionate to the seller and agile in managing the multiple viewings with ease. We really felt in safe hands without any pressure and confidence, important to us as we have been shaken by other Estate Agencies and a property purchase that fell through at a late stage. In the future, if we sell or want to buy again a property we will come to Romans first for certain.
