3rd Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.

My experience so far has been entirely positive!<br><br>In all my times searching for new place I dealt with many agents across Leytonstone/East London and Theydons were the only agent to consistently reach out to me with suggestions, this really stuck out to me as searching on Rightmove, Zoopla etc. can feel like a full-time job at times and takes over life!!<br>Other agents I always had to call and make the first move, sometimes without getting an answer!<br><br>I will definitely use Theydons when I sell my home, confident they'll be proactive rather than reactive.<br>Thanks!<br><br>H x

2nd Oct 2026 (5 weeks ago)Absolutely appalling experience. I called earlier today specifically to confirm that the viewing was still going ahead, and I was told that it was. I left work and travelled 40 minutes to get to the property, only to receive a message five minutes before the viewing informing me that it had been cancelled.<br><br>When I called to ask what had happened, I was told that the landlord had already accepted an offer and that they had apparently known about this for an hour. Yet, nobody bothered to inform me, despite having my contact details and having confirmed the viewing earlier that same day.<br><br>This is an unacceptable level of unprofessionalism and a complete disregard for people’s time. Leaving work and travelling 40 minutes for absolutely nothing, when a simple phone call or message could have prevented it, is incredibly frustrating.<br><br>Based on this experience, I would not trust this agency to handle my time or my property search professionally. The lack of communication and basic courtesy is disgraceful.

Jas was incredible understanding, compassionate and supportive throughout, always treating the situation with sensitivity and care. Despite challenges along the way, Jas remained committed, approachable and reassuring, keeping me informed and doing everything to help push the sale forward. Its not just about selling a house but about having someone who understands the circumstances and genuinely cares about the people they are helping. The service and speed to market the property was fast and efficient. within days everything was managed ,certificates. Inspections etc. I had to do virtually nothing. Within 2 weeks contracts with a suitable tenant was ready. Thanks to the agent who handled everything so professionally. Elin Shepherd.

The comms before, during and after signing the contract was great. Zach and Rana have both been great throughout the process. Would recommend to a friend or a foe.

Pamela is our main contact, very professional, communicative, knowledgeable and on top of the whole process - would highly recommend her as an agent. She showed us the property and explained everything in depth and clearly. She’s also very responsive on WhatsApp to all of our questions, which has been very very helpful. Overall, would recommend Fraser & Co Shoreditch, and ask for Pamela if you can!

By far what stood out for me is Lamar was never shy to go above and beyond to explain complicated processes or offer an opinion on concerns I had or how we would deal with them. He must be so incredibly busy but at no point did he make me feel like I was asking too much or that he did not have time - he made time for me and the seller and saw us all the way through to what was, by all accounts from my friends and colleagues, a surprisingly pain free and smooth sale.<br><br>Thank you Lamar!
2nd Oct 2026 (5 weeks ago)I have dealt with Mirko in 2020 when he managed to get my property rented in less than a week. I look forward to dealing with them in future when I need to find a new tenant.<br><br>This is an update as I wanted to make sure that this review is published. This is at least the third time now I have used Settle East to help me rent out my property. The last time was in August 2023 and now again in August 2026. I was away for the entire process and had to rely on Mirko and his team to resolve issues the new tenant raised at the last minute regarding some of the furniture which needed removing. They also sorted out a new EIRC to make things compliant. The whole experience was very easy for me as they did all the hard work. A thank you to Elif as well who managed most of the details. Not sure what else to say other than I have had positive experiences each time I have used them.

Martine , Leah and Ellie handled every problem with ease in very exceptional circumstances and made sure I was informed at every stage.<br>They were there for every phone call or message. Very professional and I felt they spoke to me like I was a person not just a client.<br>Martine went above and beyond to help me in every aspect even after completion.<br>Best ever service I have ever received.

Their sales strategy led to 7 offers in one WE, and it wasn’t an easy house to sell either as it had been lived in for 50+ years and had its share of clutter and zero maintenance. Justin supported all the way through the sales process, was always available to help, and personally visited to get documents signed. I can’t recommend them enough! They were super friendly and lovely to work with, super fast in last minute viewings and offers, responded quickly and I was able to move into my flat within less than a week of putting an offer in. Overall, they made the process of putting in an offer and moving into my flat seamless and were incredibly friendly and helpful after the fact as well. Would definitely recommend working with the team here!
