2nd Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)(2-April-2026 update) I am very disappointed with the way Barnard Marcus has handled my deposit return. Despite repeatedly following up, they continue to respond with vague messages like “I am still currently liaising with your former landlord in regards to what they may potentially be looking to claim for to deduct from your deposit.” This has been going on for far too long, and it feels completely unprofessional. The checkout inventory report clearly stated there were no damages and I have hired professional end of tenancy cleaning, so there is no reason for the landlord to spend days “looking for” deductions. The agency should be enforcing a clear deadline for the landlord, not helping them delay payment. I expected transparent and timely communication, but instead, I have experienced avoidable delays and poor accountability. Very disappointing service. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To future tenants, I wish you good luck and all the best coz you really needed it. People here just don't give a sh*t and don't care about delivering what they have promised. 1. I was only given the tenancy agreement 3 days before the tenancy start date, as I have mentioned multiple times that I need time to read the agreement and make payment and plan ahead for my moving, they only serve the landlord as the landlord is given a template and rights to modify any leasing terms 2 weeks ago, but I only got 3 days. And they insist that I need to start paying bills on the tenancy start day and not willing to postpone it even it is their fault to not send me the agreement earlier. Without any confirmation how am I suppose to make plans in moving? 2. They will not share the landlord's contact and saying I can contact them whenever I need help. However, whenever I needed them to ask landlord for confirmation, eg if it is ok to replace the traditional meter with smart meter, they will never help you and no reply. I tried to call and email, no response. Also I tried to ask them to confirm with landlord if water bill is also included, as the rent only stated hot water included. I tried to call Thames Water and got the reply is I cannot set up an account with them as the whole building was under 1 business account. I addressed this issue to Barnard Marcus Covent Garden and would would like to seek for a confirmation that I do not need to pay for water. What I got was, if you contacted Thames Water then I should take their advice. Come on! I need confirmation from you! not from Thames Water! There are many more little things that shows how irresponsible they are to Tenants, I hope this review can help anyone who is considering to rent from them. **When it comes to fixture maintenance, Hollie from the property maintenance team however did a great job, she replied my emails and follow up on the issues. I really appreciated her prompt response. PS. I will keep updating my frustrated experiences that I encounter with them.

12th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I’m not one for leaving reviews but I wanted to write about my personal experience in letting with Holly Erarslan at Hamptons. After deliberating on whether to sell or rent our property in west London (and seeing every agent in the area) my husband and I decided to rent, as we felt secure in leaving our family home in Holly’s very capable hands. As our home was fully furnished to a high standard we were a bit hesitant at first. Throughout the tenancy Holly could not have made our experience more reassuring and professional. Her customer service skills are second to none, she spoke to us with such assurance and genuine care and understanding - and we always felt that she had everything in hand. It’s what’s missing in most customer service today - that extra level of personal care. Holly would phone or meet in person and explain things meticulously, she would sometimes make a point to go over something we weren’t sure about (or comfortable with) and our feelings were always a priority and important to her. She would often request we take some time to think it all over. And despite a few obstacles and life choices we’ve had to make along the way, we always knew with confidence, that any decisions we made with Holly were going to be the right ones - and that she had our best interests at heart. Since our meeting over a year ago we decided to carry on our rental with Holly and her lovely team and I can honestly say she is the main reason why we chose to stay with Hamptons. She’s a credit to her team, she makes you feel like you’re dealing with a friend, and not just a company… and she is walking proof of what most customer service is lacking (but still exists!) in the world today. If I could give her a 20 out of 10, I would! If you’re considering Hamptons, please do not hesitate in meeting with Holly. Kristy May McCormack

They are all professional, hardworking and approachable and help to make selling your home as stress free as possible. Adam Fahy in particular is an exemplary employee. He is knowledgeable, patient and friendly and helped me on many occasions to make house viewings run smoothly. He is an absolute asset to the company.

2nd Jun 2026 (14 days ago)Ohh wow, we cannot recommend Webbs Estate Agents enough. We have used them on several occasions, and they never fail to deliver! The staff are truly outstanding, as not only are they knowledgeable, but always make time to assist and support you from start to finish. A speacial mention to Pauline, who went above and beyond to find solutions, and thereby relieve some of our stresses with a particular difficult house purchase.

From the very start, Aaron was professional, helpful, and incredibly responsive. He took the time to explain every step clearly, answered all my questions patiently, and made the whole process of finding and securing a property completely smooth and stress-free. He was always available when I needed him, followed up promptly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was sorted out properly. It’s rare to find such dedicated and friendly service these days — Aaron truly represents the best of what a letting agent should be. The rest of the team at Charles Knight was also great, but Aaron’s support really stood out. I would highly recommend both the agency and Aaron George to anyone looking for a reliable, honest, and efficient letting agent. 10/10 service.
2nd Jun 2026 (14 days ago)We met Tommy Chalker a few months ago. He was very helpful in allowing us to see a property 3 times when we were not in a position to make an offer. By the time we did have an offer on our own house we had found another property which we liked equally. We knew Tommy had worked hard in getting the GJ property reduced to a price we could afford so it was disappointing that we opted for the other property. He was always, polite, efficient and accommodating. Excellent service! Many thanks Tommy and Garton Jones.
27th Apr 2026 (7 weeks ago)I only have good things to say about Charlsons. We had a long sell which involved finding 3 different buyers - no fault of Charlsons or us! Each time we knew Charlsons had our best interests at heart. They acted with professionalism and good humour throughout. It was a good day for all when we completed. I heartily recommend their services.
