William, who is a trainee at Acorn, was an absolute star and made a very stressful process super easy and stress free for myself and family. He helped us from the very beginning, including viewing, referencing etc. We are very grateful and highly recommend William and Acorn.
7th Oct 2026 (30 days ago)We found the team to be quite misleading and game-playing for much of the process of buying a home. We found Daniel to be very friendly in the beginning, and then just straight up pushy and tactical.
His team were ok, but it would often take a long time to get full responses which is frustrating when purchasing a property.

14th Oct 2026 (23 days ago)I handled the sale of my son in law's (lives abroad) flat through Hunters in Catford. Richard, the manager valued the property and advised us on the approach to take in view of the current market conditions. A couple of viewings took place and eventually one of the prospective purchaser's made an offer and after some negotiation Richard managed to get us the best deal possible under the circumstances. After accepting the offer, Brenda Erskine-Sam the Sales Support Manager took over the case and did a brilliant job in getting the transaction over the line. The staff at Hunters were very helpful throughout a rather difficult transaction. A big thank you to Richard, Brenda and the team.

29th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)When considering the sale of rental property in Forest Hill we approached Pickwick Estates, who were marketing a nearby home and engaged directly with Paolo, who provided an accurate valuation remotely. Paolo is a local expert and is very familiar with property typologies and buyers in the Honor Oak and Forest Hill area.
Paolo looked after the whole process for us, was easily contactable directly via WhatsApp, achieved a sale over asking surpassing alls expectations. We appreciated the personal service.
Paolo expertly progressed the leasehold sale and we are delighted to have now completed.

There were loads of bumps in the road due to chain issues and Jay steered it through so well. Jay's communication with the chain and my solicitor was so professional and knowledgeable.

My sale was quite complex, with delays and hold ups in the chain that were outside our control, but the team went above and beyond to keep things moving. They handled everything with professionalism, urgency and a personal touch that I really appreciated.
Communication was excellent. Whenever I had a question, someone was there to answer, and I always felt confident they were working hard behind the scenes. They were approachable, trustworthy and easy to work with throughout.
A special thank you to John for his patience with my frequent requests for answers and updates, and to Terrence for his work behind the scenes, pushing the sale forward and showing a real urgency to get things done. Thank you also to Jamie for making me feel welcome from the outset and giving me confidence that I’d chosen the right estate agents.

16th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Buying and selling a property is already a very stressful time and I found this estate agents overall poor, and general lack of communication exasperated what should be a simple part of the process in relation to viewing properties. I contacted the agency a number of times requesting a viewing to not get through to anyone or told to wait for a callback. When I did finally receive the confirmation, communication issues persisted with no replies to queries, a dead phone line when trying to call, and even a closed office even though we could see someone sitting in there. I was often given the excuse of a tech issue, but no other route to contact them was offered. We were left standing in the cold waiting for the viewing and 15 minutes late the door opened and it appeared the estate agent was waiting inside the whole time. I was very disappointed in the service and even if I was interested in the property I would think twice before buying in case the poor communication carried on delaying the sale.
