8th Aug 2026 (12 weeks ago)Heathgate are the management agents of our block.<br>Shabz is the manager for the block and I do genuinely feel he cares for the residents.<br>No management agent is perfect but after having 3 in as many years I can say that Heathgate are responsive, approachable (very rare for managing agents) and sensible. Shabz sorted an issue for our home that had been ongoing for over a year and caused us a great deal of stress and I am very grateful for this.
22nd Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Charles helped assist us through the process of purchasing a house in Hampstead Garden Suburbs, his knowledge, expertise and skill was essential to the whole process, he answered all my questions asked and also helped me gain knowledge of the area we were looking to move into- I couldn't recommend Litchfields more and if you want an even better service, call up and ask for Charles! Thank you- 30th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)If you’re selling a flat in Highgate, use Litchfields! They handled the sale of my mother’s flat which was not an easy sell and, in a difficult market, they not only found the perfect buyer but they also were so supportive, responsive and kind. John handled the pre-sale arrangements showing the flat to its best and even watering the plants for us when we weren’t around; Giselle handled the post-offer arrangements and she was super-efficient, helpful and a real ‘unblocker of obstacles’. Despite a recalcitrant managing agent, we managed to go from offer to completion on a flat in just two months. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

10th Jun 2026 (21 weeks ago)Our experience with HomeLink has been extremely negative.<br><br>We returned the keys on 14 May 2026 and recorded a video at the time of handover as evidence. Despite this, we were later told that the keys had only been returned on 2 June 2026. We have evidence showing otherwise.<br><br>When we rented the property, we were informed by Zach that there were no damp or mould issues. However, during our tenancy we experienced significant damp, mould and moisture problems throughout the property, particularly during the winter months. My wife and child developed asthma-related health problems, and we have supporting medical evidence.<br><br>We moved out on 30 April 2026 and were preparing to move into another property. During this process, HomeLink provided a negative reference, stating that rent payments had been late. We had already informed them in writing that my salary payment date had changed and requested that the payment date be adjusted accordingly. Despite this, the issue was not resolved.<br><br>HomeLink has withheld our £2,015 deposit and has attempted to charge rent for a period when we were no longer living in the property. We have written communications showing that we informed the agency in advance about leaving the property.<br><br>We feel that we were treated unfairly throughout this process. We have retained emails, messages, video recordings and other evidence and have started legal proceedings regarding these matters.<br><br>Potential tenants should carefully document all communications and thoroughly inspect any property for damp and mould issues before signing a tenancy agreement.

The team were brilliant throughout the whole process — responsive, professional, and always quick to chase up the little details that come up during a sale, even outside normal hours. They kept things moving smoothly right through to completion and made what can be a stressful process feel genuinely manageable. Would highly recommend the team to anyone selling in the area.

However, this estate agent genuinely cares about its clients and puts in the effort to answer any questions and provide help whenever needed.<br><br>I had an especially excellent experience dealing with Daniel Saleem, who is a pleasure to speak to and has made me feel completely reassured throughout the process.<br><br>I couldn’t recommend this estate agent more for the local area. They’re a great option and have provided an excellent service.

27th Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)If I could give no stars I would. Will, who said he was the manager of the two Hackney branches, really could not manage a rice pudding. He was enthusiastic until the sale was agreed and then didn't want to bother with any communicating thereafter. He gave the clear impression that he just needed to sit back, do nothing more and wait for the commission to role. He gave clear indications that he did not have time to try and help progress the sale because he was too busy trying to make other property sales. I came away with the definite idea that Dexters work on agreeing as many sales as they possibly can and then do nothing thereafter and keep their fingers crossed that the sale completes. They work on quantity of sales and not quality of service. What Will does not take into account is that buying and selling is very stressful for the buyers and sellers and part of the agents job should be to be very active in progressing the sale and keeping in communication with other agents and the buyers and sellers until the sale is complete. Avoid listing your property for sale with Dexters to avoid disappointment.

We recently sold our property in Golders Green through them and were really pleased with the service we received from start to finish.<br><br>Richard was incredibly helpful throughout the process and, when we ran into an unexpected complication during the sale, he was always on hand to offer advice, get involved where needed and used his knowledge and local connections to help move things along. His experience of the local market really showed and it was reassuring to have him involved throughout the sale.<br><br>We wouldn’t hesitate to use Houseman & Holmes again and would happily recommend Richard and the team to friends and family.
