From the moment we met the team, we felt confident that they would make it happen, and they absolutely delivered.<br><br>A special thank you to Arif, who has been outstanding throughout the entire process. He is incredibly professional, responsive and genuinely cares about his clients. Every message was answered promptly, every question was handled with patience, and it always felt as though he was selling his own property rather than ours.<br><br>What really sets Arif apart is that he goes far beyond what you would normally expect from an estate agent. 29th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)Very disappointing handling of deposit return<br><br>I vacated my property on 4 April and, following discussions regarding the proposed deductions, an agreement was reached for £1,168.50 of my £1,788 deposit to be returned.<br><br>Despite the matter being agreed, I am still waiting for the refund almost five months later. I have had to repeatedly chase for updates, and I was recently told that the landlord has not responded and therefore no timeframe can be given for when my money will be released.<br><br>I appreciate that there may be communication required between the agent and landlord, but from a tenant’s perspective, waiting this long for an agreed deposit refund, with no clear timeframe for payment, is extremely frustrating.<br><br>I hope this can finally be resolved and the £1,168.50 returned promptly.<br><br>Vacated the property 6 months ago and have still not received my deposit back even though I have agreed to the landlords deduction for the sake of speeding things up. All I am being told is they now have to wait for the landlord to confirm he’s happy with his own proposed deductions and apparently he is not replying. Seems like this is a reoccurring theme with Bourne regarding them holding onto deposits for extended periods of time as stated in previous reviews from others.<br><br>I personally would not recommend them at this point.

From our very first conversation he was professional, knowledgeable, and completely on top of every detail. But what really stood out was his warmth, he made what's usually a stressful process feel calm and straightforward, always taking the time to answer my questions and keep me updated at every step.<br><br>He genuinely went above and beyond, and his honesty and patience made all the difference. It's rare to find someone who combines that level of expertise with such a friendly, down-to-earth manner. Thank you for everything.

I discovered that the bed frame was damaged when I arrived, and she responded very quickly, contacted the maintenance team straight away, and arranged for someone to come and fix it promptly. Thanks to her support, the issue was resolved without causing any disruption to my move-in. I really appreciate her professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to help. Highly recommended.

From the moment I met Aimee, she instantly understood what I was looking for in a home and was able to show me exactly the right house for my family. She even suggested a property I was hesitant to view, but she knew I’d fall in love with it, and she was right.<br><br>During the completion process I worked with Natasha, who was absolutely fantastic. She helped us progress our sale through a chain of five parties and four properties. She worked tirelessly, and honestly I don’t think we could have completed without her.<br><br>A huge thank you to the whole team.

14th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Intercounty Dunmow helped me with the sale of my shared ownership property. The housing association had listed the property as required for 3 months with not a single viewing arranged. I was deflated about it and Intercounty changed the whole thing. I was very impressed by the initial appointment and how quickly they got it on the market.<br><br>Intercounty handled all of the viewings and communicated really well throughout. Very quickly I received offers and the sale was arranged. Unfortunately the first buyer pulled out at the last minute. Intercounty again very quickly found another buyer. I spoke mostly with Annabel Gurnett who was great both times!<br><br>After the sale was agreed Hayley French progressed the sale and without her I’m not sure what I would have done, it felt like she made it her personal mission to get it done. The buyers solicitor was very slow and Hayley sent multiple chaser emails and kept me updated throughout. It made the process much less stressful, so thank you so much.<br><br>Overall everyone was really helpful and technically sold the flat twice (thankfully only charging me once!). Really good team, highly recommended!

Once we were with Davis Tate the photos were very good however some parts of the listing were not as expected. We didn’t have nearly as many viewings as expected and the communication was really poor. We didn’t sell our house but by deciding to reduce it on our own terms and didn’t listen to some of the advice of Davis Tate
