They were clear with what our house needed prior to going onto the market and incredibly thorough with finding the right buyers and flexible around our family when it came to viewings. Highly recommend them for your next sale or purchase.
7th Jul 2026 (10 weeks ago)I had a very disappointing experience when contacting this agency to arrange a viewing.<br><br>At first, I explained that the property would be for me and my baby. The member of staff placed me on hold, and after waiting, the call ended. I called back and the same thing happened again. This occurred around three times, which I found very frustrating and unprofessional.<br><br>When I eventually explained that the property would be for myself, my partner, and our baby, I was told that the property would be too small for the three of us. I felt that I was given repeated excuses rather than a clear and helpful explanation.<br><br>I understand that not every property will be suitable for every applicant, but I believe customers should still be treated with respect, listened to, and given professional communication. Unfortunately, my experience with this agency did not feel professional or welcoming.

11th Sep 2026 (5 days ago)We had such a great experience with Sara at Marsh & Parsons! She was really helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. The day I first called, she called me back with two properties and availability to view that suited us. The second property she showed us ended up being the one we went for!<br><br>The viewings were also private, which made such a difference. There were no queues of people outside the door or loads of couples being shown around at the same time, so the whole experience felt much more personal and relaxed. Sara even drove us from one viewing to the second property so we could make it to another viewing in time afterwards.<br><br>She made everything really easy over WhatsApp too, from contracts and deposits to answering all our questions, even when she wasn’t working. She was always so responsive and happy to help.<br><br>Couldn’t recommend Sara enough! She made what is normally a stressful process feel really easy and genuinely went above and beyond to help us find our new home.- 1st Sep 2026 (15 days ago)We couldn’t recommend Phil and the team at Marsh & Parsons highly enough. We first talked to Peter to find a letting solution. Peter, Victoria, and their team found suitable tenants quickly while keeping us well informed. Anna and Ella handled the practical side. Anna devoted lots of time to contracts, agreements, and preparation work. Ella also assisted a lot with scheduling and went beyond her role by supervising the disposal of old furniture to ensure a smooth move-in—which we truly appreciated ! Mae and Gioia were also very responsive and helpful.As overseas landlords, having an experienced, reliable team is vital to us. After I moved in, I noticed that a few things in the property were damaged . As soon as I let her know, she responded immediately and arranged for the issues to be resolved very quickly. She is extremely helpful, responsive, and professional.<br><br>Ashlee has also been fantastic and very helpful throughout the process<br><br>After 8 years of using this agency, I am still very happy with their service and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to rent a property. Communication was clear and they were always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Property listed for 2 months and not a single viewing.<br><br>I engaged Beresfords to sell my property at the beginning of June and apart from the initial visit they were totally inept. Every single thing they were responsible for either didn’t happen or was done so poorly that I had to do it myself!<br><br>1. They made no effort with the initial proposal for the online listing and brochure included the worst photos of my property, despite having taken other much more appealing photos. Key information (such as parking, refurbishments that had been completed etc.) was also missing. I had to provide extensive feedback for them to fix all of these points.<br>2. They did not put up a board outside for several weeks, and only did so when I questioned where it was. Excuse was “it’s the board companies fault”.<br>3. In 8 weeks they managed to find ONE potential viewer who cancelled the first appointment the day before and then on the second appointment did not even bother to turn up - I later found out she missed her mortgage appointment directly before, but nobody at Beresfords bothered to tell me this.<br>4. Despite the lack of viewings, and the fact that my property is modern, well presented, in a good location, and has a few unique/desirable features such as a garage and parking, Beresfords did not once contact me to suggest a new strategy or price amendment.<br><br>I cancelled my contract with them without giving the required 28 days notice and although they provided excuses as to why their performance had been poor, they did not try to enforce the notice period as they clearly knew they’d been totally incompetent.<br><br>The whole process was incredibly stressful, wasted lots of my time, and massively delayed my move. The final insult was that I had to follow up 10 days after I’d asked for the board to be collected as it was still outside my home!

They kept me informed throughout, made sure things were progressing until it was clear that the original buyer was found to be untrustworthy and had changed his mind! They then found another keen buyer who had been kept on the back burner, from several months beforehand, which ensured a swift and seamless completion.
