23rd Oct 2026 (10 days ago)I just completed a house purchase, and Harwich Village Homes was responsible for the sellers property.<br><br>Our experience with them was amazing from start to finish as the buyers of the property.<br><br>When booking our viewing, it was seamless with prompt responses to messages. As we were moving from London to Harwich, they accommodated viewings around our work schedules and times that were good for us due to how far we were coming from.<br><br>Throughout our whole purchase, I had regular phone call updates and was supported with reassurance and any questions answering when I felt unsure due to being first-time buyers.<br><br>I didn't think that the sellers estate agent would be so helpful to me as the purchaser, but they were amazing.<br><br>Once our completion took place, it was made easy for us to collect the keys, and also, we were given a congratulations card, which was so sweet of them all. Everyone I spoke to for any reason was very informative and understanding of my lack of knowledge on how this process goes.<br><br>I would highly recommend their services as it was an absolute pleasure working with them all during our house purchase.<br><br>Thank you all so much.

Please be aware when dealing with this agency and their landlords ( who apparently never reply to them but are responsive when signing new tenants) . They will keep your deposit for months and months but will have no problems taking deposits from next tenants ON THE SAME PROPERTY .<br><br>we have been quiet for 2 months but these guys have been holding our deposit despite no issues with check out reports.<br><br>Your agents should be explicitly clear from start IF you agency doesn’t like to release deposits on time .

He handled our purchase with the patience of a saint, which was needed, as the sellers were not the easiest to deal with. He kept us informed at every stage, answered all of our questions (and there were a lot of them), and kept the whole thing moving when it could easily have stalled.
