30th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)We honestly cannot speak highly enough of John D Wood in Southfields, and in particular Jack and Chris, who were absolutely outstanding throughout our house purchase.
From the very beginning, they went above and beyond what we could ever have expected. Their communication was consistently excellent, they were always available, incredibly proactive and kept us fully informed at every stage. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and whenever something needed chasing, resolving or simply a bit of extra attention, they were straight on it.
The level of service was truly second to none. They are a real credit to John D Wood, and we would go as far as saying they are by far the best estate agents in Southfields.
We couldn’t be happier in our new home or with our experience. We would recommend Jack, Chris and the wider team at John D Wood without a moment’s hesitation. If you’re buying or selling in Southfields, look no further. Thank you both for everything!

My recent selling experience was made much smoother with the experience, knowledge and support of Rob. He was always professional and a great advisor throughout the process and as a result secured a sale we were very happy with.

Russell has years of experience and so much knowledge of the area. I was so grateful to be guided by him and was very happy to get a cash offer on the table after only having had the property on the market for 3 weeks. Bell was always available to help me with any questions that came up and was instrumental in making sure that the sale went through smoothly. I am delighted with the friendly and competent service that I received and couldn't recommend Russell and Bell highly enough.

Charlie was brilliant throughout the process - always helpful, responsive and proactive, and genuinely went above and beyond to help us do everything we could to make the move happen. He was understanding of our situation and did everything in his power to help us navigate what was a frustrating and stressful situation.
His professionalism, communication and attitude was fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him - or Hamptons - to anyone looking to rent or a property in the area.

26th Aug 2023 (3 years ago)From the start communication was good and emails and phone calls were always responded to quickly. Rebecca was a very effective go between between buyer and seller and worked professionally.
17th May 2024 (2 years ago)I purchased my first flat through KFH. They were very efficient and responsive during this process, and guided me well. However, apart from these, my experience was not at all positive. It became evident very quickly that they were working solely for the benefit of the seller. Little to none was done to take into account what would work for me, both mortgage-wise, and in terms of discussing exchange/completion dates - it was always a matter of doing what the seller wanted. There were also a few events of miscommunication/incorrect information which resulted into me losing some money.
I do acknowledge that they were dealing with a particularly demanding seller, but in my opinion, what makes a good agent (or rather a good employee in general), is their ability to deal with difficult, non-trivial situations. I would not recommend KFH as a buyer.

Additionally they are not respecting my contract terms and trying to overcharge me for the end of the tenancy. If I could recommend one estate agent, it would always be Zoey Papaphotis. I cannot recommend Alexander Seymour in general! Keep up the good work! :)

Living overseas, I expected the process might be a little more challenging, but I needn’t have worried. James carefully arranged and oversaw all the repairs and preparation needed before putting the flat on the market, and he was always readily available to explain the many steps along the way.
As issues arose during the sale process, as they inevitably do, James was always there to guide me on how best to proceed. His reassuring and positive attitude, along with his calm and professional manner, made what could have been a stressful process much easier.
It is clear that James has extensive experience in the Earlsfield property market, and I would have no hesitation in highly recommending him to anyone looking to sell a property in the area.

Charlie was always very responsive and quick to reply to messages, which made everything so much easier and less stressful. He was proactive, attentive to details, and always happy to help whenever we had questions or needed something sorted.
What I appreciated most was how dependable he was — you always felt that things were being properly taken care of. He made the whole process smooth and straightforward from start to finish.

2nd Oct 2026 (5 weeks ago)We found Chelwood to be an extremely professional company. The friendly staff were very pleasant to deal with and guided us through our purchase - which was subject to granting of probate - always keeping us updated and making it a stress free experience.
22nd Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Do not use! We were royally messed around and left homeless the day before move in due to a mistake from the agent. There was no acknowledgement of their wrongdoing or of the serious breach of the Renters Rights Act despite us having clear evidence. The agent had the audacity to suggest homeless shelters as a feasible solution after screwing us over, we were treated with a complete lack of professionalism and no accountability of their wrongdoings, instead pushing all the blame onto us. We also had to fight to get our deposit back which we needed to be able to find alternate accommodation, and the dispute process was a joke where yet again the blame was pushed onto us despite our clear evidence of their wrongdoing.- 8th Oct 2026 (29 days ago)Matt helped us to sell our flat in Southfields. I thought he was very proactive and get us informed at all times. Despite a very tough market, Matt managed to get us an offer within 1 week of being on the market.

Yvette Was meant to be away the following week but made sure we got the appraisal before she went away.

I highly recommend Barnard Marcus for all letting and sales and also Yvette she is so unlike an estate agent which is quiet refreshing to say the least.
