James especially has supported us throughout our entire journey in which we are super grateful to him for, he has been prompt, answered all questions, supported us with things we struggled understand along the way! James has kept us in the loop and updated along the way, id also like thank David as well who picked things up and kept us updated when James had his days off. 20th Oct 2025 (21 weeks ago)Used Ashtons as was a prospective buyer of a property they marketed. Not so many issues with the office but the sales progression team were always quite slow to respond and could never get through to the assigned person to my case. Additionally used ashtons to sell my property and I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience. The problems began immediately. The agency provided an initial valuation to secure our business in July, only to suggest a £25,000 price reduction after just one week, admitting there was no interest. Despite agreeing to the reduction, it did not correlate to an increase in activity which would lead to questions around marketing and resource as Ashtons list a lot of properties. By September, they had only managed to secure two viewings. We received absolutely no feedback from either of these viewings, despite requesting it, leaving us completely in the dark. Lastly thier fees are quite opaque and if youre new to selling read through everything very carefully. In the non flex fees there are baked in withdrawal fees that ensure ashtons get paid regardless if they sell or not. Which gives them little incentive to really push your property in my opinion. The alternative is you pay money up front to them to sell your property which is preposterous. Fundamentally all the agents use rightmove to market your property and that's where most people go to find houses. In summary: an inaccurate valuation, negligible effort, a complete lack of communication, and a devious fee structure designed to charge you even when they fail to perform.
14th Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)So good for so long as a landlord, efficient and helpful. Then it went wrong when difficulties with tenants leaving when I needed to move back in. Feels like the tenants are priority and no attempt to use the accelerated process available, with everything on go slow. If I'm cynical , is this because they are still receiving rent and so earning fee which will stop when I get the house back? Currently feel I have no option but to take over eviction process myself. If you go with them, don't bother with paying for them to deal with evicting tenants, just do it yourself.

Shes a great person to connect with if you are looking for a property to rent. She seems to listen to my requirements and appreciates the flexibility I needed to. She’s a great person to work with and I’m super happy with my current flat.

Kris was extremely efficient and handled the viewings professionally, keeping everything running smoothly. Tracie acted as our sales progressor and kept us regularly updated throughout the entire process, which made what can often be a stressful experience feel very well managed. We couldn’t fault the service and would happily recommend Cassidy & Tate to anyone selling their home.
20th Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)Each agent I went in the village were helpful. This tatty place well was empty, could have robbed the place until a lady and a very tall man come out of a door, giggling. Such lady walked to a desk, I was surprised cos she looked a cleaner. Tall man reluctantly took my details telling me that landlords will not take ‘my type’. I’ve found out from the local pub they’ve been there a long time. Some had nothing good to say but that is for a different day. I just felt I had to write as they made me feel like I was worth nothing and could bring them no business, funny enough one of their landlords told me to go there!!!

From the outset Andrew took a genuine interest in my property and plans, and the photographs and brochure he organised were excellent. Andrew kept me informed at all stages and the dedicated WhatsApp group proved a very efficient method of communicating. A very friendly and efficient firm and I would highly recommend them.
27th Feb 2026 (15 days ago)Avocado have been a pleasure to deal with throughout. Their marketing was superb and customer service has been exceptional throughout. I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

9th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)Chris was available by phone at all hours evenings and weekends which was good especially when I came home late from work and needed confirmation about things. He also put us onto an excellent solicitor who always kept us unto date with progress. Overall marketing of our property was good with Ariel views and good internal photos.
9th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)The team at Putterills probably won’t realise that I am a fellow agent who runs Leysbrook in Letchworth, but I only have very positive things to say about the service I received from Putterills in Welwyn Garden City. From the viewing, which was conducted very professionally, through to the constant support and updates from Abigail Rawling, the service has been excellent from start to finish. My only small comment, and certainly not something that warrants losing a star, would be to reconsider charging buyers and sellers for AML checks ????

10th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)I have been working closely with IW Estates over the last few weeks as they take over the management of my property portfolio. The service I have received has been outstanding and I am impressed with the “due diligence” they have undertaken. Giving the changing legislation affecting landlords, I feel confident that IW Estates will ensure compliance with the law. I also expect that my tenants will have confidence that issues arising with the property they are renting will be dealt with in a timely manner. My point of contact is Ellie Smith and she has been outstanding in terms of advising me, creating new tenancy agreements and meeting my tenants. I know that she is supported by others in IW Estates and my thanks go to them as well as to Ellie. In summary, in my view, a highly professional Company who do everything “by the book” and deserve to do well in the highly competitive lettings business.
