As first time buyers she made the mortgage application feel effortless, finding us the best rate available and managing to fit an appointment in very last minute to help secure it. I'm glad I used this service and will be making use of it after the fixed term on my mortgage is up as I know she will once again find us the best rate :)
9th Apr 2024 (25 days ago)We had a bad experience with this company for Liasoning between the house owner and tenants. There seems to be a biased opinion and didn't support tenants for genuine tenancy issues. Completely inexperienced staff to deal with.

18th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

24th Apr 2024 (10 days ago)Horrible experience...their emails are very aggressive (bold and red text), they are not helpful at all and they forget who is the customer always trying to get in dominant positions, asking for things quoting the law without even understanding the law( i.e: querying a transaction between own accounts on £500 quoting money laundry law- threshold being £8k/ 10k eur/ transaction to other people - not to own accounts. Asking for a passport( despite the 2 uploads of copies and referencing agency checks) in the last minute on collection of the keys after contracts signed and all the funds paid...etc. any ID should have been enough. Anyway I couldn't find any professionalism there not even on mr Oakman himself
