16th Mar 2026 (16 days ago)Very impressed and grateful to Richard Harding estate agents who managed the sale of our property. We spoke to several other agents known for their premium listings and wider geographical reach, but ultimately chose Richard Harding for several reasons. Firstly, we were keen for a prompt off market sale but not at the cost of compromising the sale price - their extensive list and knowledge of existing potential buyers (which far exceeded that of the other agents) meant they were able to identify genuine, suitable and proceedable buyers, ultimately meaning we had a very good offer within a week that proceeded to completion. Secondly, we agreed small sales team to conduct viewings, all of whom had visited the property before it was marketed and were familiar with all the fittings, selling points and nuances to give the property the best chance of a sale. Having secured a buyer, I was also very impressed with the proactive approach to move the sale process along and to smoothly manage the inevitable blips along the way. Huge credit to Ben Murray-Brown, who was handling our sale on behalf of Richard Harding, who was relentlessly efficient, kept me updated throughout, is an excellent read of character (very important when ensuring everyone on all sides of the sales process is on the same page) and was a pleasure to work with. In respect of my onward property purchase, Ben was also excellent at translating my 'on paper' requirements into worthwhile viewings, and was an honest and helpful sounding board when considering pros, cons and development ideas.

From advertising the property, to arranging the viewings or managing referencing and contracting processes - everything ran very smoothly. Special thanks to our property manager Max; who facilitated the process from the start. He’s professional, insightful and responsive - giving us peace of mind while abroad. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend CJ Hole.

Liam has been excellent during property viewings – friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable about the properties, making the whole process feel relaxed and informative. Emily also carried out the valuation of my house and provided really helpful, practical advice about the market and next steps, which I really appreciated. Overall a very professional and helpful team, and I’d happily recommend CJ Hole based on my experience.

When things got tricky she went above and beyond to expedite a solution in a very professional manner. The sales brochure was brilliant, based on Duncan’s excellent knowledge and advice. The support from Vicky Elias and Lucy Lingley-Stephens was also excellent and we were kept informed about progress every step of the way. All round the team at Goodman and Lilley gave superb service and I would recommend them without reservation.- 13th Mar 2026 (19 days ago)I moved my sale to CJ Hole Westbury-on-Trym after a poor experience with another estate agent, and the difference was immediate. Rob’s valuation was spot on and clearly based on a strong understanding of the local market. The marketing was excellent and the team moved quickly to get the property in front of serious buyers. Dan and the team who handled the viewings did a great job presenting the house, while Charlie kept everything organised and moving smoothly. Most importantly, they were proactive, professional and genuinely helpful throughout. They exceeded expectations and helped me find the right buyer. A big thank you to Rob, Dan, Charlie and the team. 23rd Mar 2026 (9 days ago)Having just purchased a property from Chappell & Matthews I have to thank the team for enabling a speedy move process. Bailey was great throughout the viewings; Friendly & professional, allowing us space to properly look around yet being on hand to answer any questions we had- He wasn't pushy like some other agents we've dealt with in the past and that certainly helped us to cement our decision. After the offer stage, Fiona and Rosie were fantastic with helping push the transaction through, offering advice and support where needed. Lovely "welcome to your new home" box too upon completion, which just left a really nice final touch to the transaction

30th Mar 2026 (2 days ago)The worst Estate agents ever. The bane of my life. Myself & My housemate laugh because every time something needs to be actioned, some how the estate agents mess it up. They constantly email us about the property and put for example number 15 when its number 5. There is a women called Sam who works there and she has the attitude of a 14 year old teenager. Snappy, rude behaviour and talked over me multiple times. When signing the tenancy, arranging paperwork to move into the property, Sam told us different figures for the deposit each time we spoke to her. When I questioned this, she was very immature and very rude. When I complained to House & Co they listened to the call and said they felt nothing wrong took place. But as someone who's worked in service for many years, I can assure you that her language was bratty and her attitude stunk. Told them three times that my housemates name was spelt incorrectly, but when we went in to sign the tenancy it was still spelt incorrectly which caused a delay. Weirdly, they said we never notified them of this. Another message Sam did not pass on. Twice, they have emailed us THE NIGHT BEFORE telling us a inspection is due the NEXT DAY. Then state they told us previously which was a lie. I also dealt with this estate agents when I bought a previous property. This was in 2020 with Covid19 causing many issues of course. The people I bought the property from were using House and Co for the sale of the property. The sellers left us all of their old furniture, rubbish, mess and honestly it was a bio-hazard. I contacted House & co multiple times to complain and they NEVER got back to me. Not once. I had to fork out over £4k for a skip. WORST ESTATE AGENTS EVER. Wil bratty staff. Good luck to anyone that uses them!

Excellent support from Chris from the sales progression team after offer accepted and helped me navigate a difficult sale with mediocre solicitors on both sides. Worth the money, would highly recommend.

At the initial viewing, Chris was knowledgeable about the house/area and personable - a breath of fresh air compared to some of the house viewings with other estate agents we had attended in Bristol. From that point onwards, Chris kept in regular contact with us, following up with updates on the house sale progress, without us needing to chase. We had some delays with our ongoing chain but Chris made us feel reassured by proactively chasing slow solicitors and communicating clearly throughout to ensure our house sale went through on time. Overall, Chris is a lovely, reliable person and I would definitely recommend them if you want a stress free house buying process!
